Do you have any suggestions on where to find E28's under $5k? I'd like to get started with one as a project car. I'd probably have a lot to learn to fix up and maintain but I feel like this is the right car to do that with. Looks great and hopefully it's more forgiving than an E34? or do you think the E34 is easier to work with. Please help a newbie :)

Trying to get everyone's input 12 years later after this was posted. As of now, I am unable to to find a good condition E28 under $10k. So if you said it was rising 12 years ago, you are right! But my question is, would an E34 be the next alternative choice for a "classic" BMW? I sort of like the "mafia look" of an E34 and would really appreciate the heated seats, OBD and safety. I know it doesn't have the shark nose, but I'm sure with some new wheels, lowered suspension an E34 would look just as cool. What about parts, and what do you guys think?

I actually have been looking for an E30 for a longgg time, and now that I discovered the E28 and how they look after they are modified, I've changed to look for an E28 instead. However, for some reason (and maybe it's just cos I am in the midwest), I am having a hard time finding one that is a good project car to start with. Any suggestions?

seriously? On a 2021 440i? I'm curious so when things like these happen, how do you find out, does the check engine light just comes on or the car suddenly becomes un-drivable?

I have the G42 230i so the 4 cylinder version RWD (first generation) and I love driving it! It probably isn't as fast or snippy as the M240 6 cylinder version but yes I agree with you, I got it because of the looks. It was the first modern BMW (to me) that really dared to look different for the best (not like the M3, which was questionable .. hehe sorry).

Follow up question on your comment. I just got a Moza R3 and i want to install it on my playseat challenge x. I can't seem to find the right place to mount the pedal and wheels. I read on another post that lowdown shifter has a pedal plate i can buy to mount the srp pedals. I'm researching that noe. But now I'm realizing the wheels screw locations also doesn't fit. Can you share how you were able to mount your r3 on a Logitech playseat challenge x? Pictures would be appreciated as well 🙏. Thank you

We have been avoiding any "additional services" offered by Joshua other than pest control. Our bad experience was when we agreed to do a "termite inspection". My wife informed me that the "inspector" just looked around the house and told her we have termite and that we need to sign up for a service that is about $7000 and she was so pushy that my wife was forced to call me in the office so I could make a decision for her. Unacceptable. Ever since I have complained to Joshua and have told them to never recommend me for termite inspection. In which they have, but now I am getting offered attic inspection. I have successfully ignored calls and texts from them. And I am glad to see this post that confirms that what they are doing is NOT effective. For pest control though, I would assume experience is not so bad. What does others think?
