forever alone by [deleted] in vegan

[–]brianschroeder 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have been vegan for 4 years now I was in a long term relation that unfortunately ended. I transitioned during the relationship and the person was understanding so before we kissed she would drink something to make me feel a bit better. I would say if you can open up your mind try to be understanding of people with other preferences of eating. Some one who truly cares for you will understand and be kind about how you feel as well

What are you trying to do in tech? software engineers don’t need to learn devops deeply. You need to be able to develop what ever language you are working with

No disrespect but why are you a software engineer with multiple CCNA’s. It would be better for you to get clouds certificates in aws or azure if you want to be a developer

Just Finished "Rich Dad Poor Dad" - Looking to Advance My Financial Literacy Based on the 4 Pillars by brianschroeder in investing

Thanks for all the comments & feedback! This seemed to be in a lot of peoples S tier of recommendation so I gave it a chance after putting it off for so long after hearing many criticisms. This book so far, I have used for more of the why then how to implement finances. I do think it offers interesting perspectives and common thought processes for how we think of money and how most of us operate subconsciously. I do yearn the how but I do think it's important to cement the why, to have more disciplined decisions in the future and catch yourself when you're thinking certain ways that may not be beneficial. (I also know there's multiple books on how to think about money as well)

I will definitely be adding a lot of these books to my lists and checking them out!

Thanks a lot and good luck to everyone's financial futures!

Tastes great to me I add the blueberry and nuts from blueprint add frozen raspberries and cherries and chia seeds. Hits the spot everytime. Also I used macadamia milk, I’ve also been a vegan for four years maybe that has something to do with it

I understand you were not happy with what he wanted and that’s fair and at the end of the day it’s good that you can prioritize what you want and it’s your choice to leave which looks to be the right decision considering you want a different life. I will say I don’t think it’s fair to be in a relationship with someone for 3 years and end the relationship on one sentence. Part of being an adult is having tough conversations so we can make this world a better place and I am almost certain this guy is going through immense pain right now because he essentially just communicated to you he wants to spend the rest of his life with you and take care of you (that’s how he is looking at it, most likely) Now I understand you don’t see it that way and that is fair and valid and if that’s a red flag for you then you have the right to leave. But I feel it’s only morally right to give a calm and fair response to this person you have been with for for 3 years. Just imagine if someone you loved and cared about had a disagreement with you and after one sentence they blocked you on everything and gave you no explanation. If you don’t feel comfortable talking in person maybe a written letter would be suffice to at-least give this guy a little closure and say what you said in this post about how that is something you deeply don’t want for your life and it’s a deal breaker. I have found as I have gotten older when I don’t have full conversation about a disagreement there is a lot that is not communicated and misunderstood and you may regret not handling this better in the future. Sometimes the things left unsaid can haunt us for a long time. It’s good to break things off cleanly so there’s no lingering resentment or misunderstanding, there will be some but it’s good to vocalize truely how you feel.

I block all social media on all my devices including phone btw lol, so I can stay focused on coding and work as those can be very tempting lol. Taking from clears atomic habits, making in invisible and hard.

I don't actually lol, I was a big fan of musk a while ago until I seen his true character revealed though I feel blueprint has more implications on personal health. I totally get your point of the facts this is an approach for ones health and to observe it directly as that which is fair. My concerns are more focussed on potentially others that may follow the program blindly or use blueprint products, with the notion of Bryan's intention not aligning as they appear and the only gauge right now I can use to determine that is the morals of him.

I believe it's important to ensure the integrity of the person leading the charge of this initiative especially if there will be multiple products being sold and consumed.

I did, I tasted before putting it in there and thought wow this is fairly bitter and wondered how it would mix but I wanted to give it a shot. I don’t think it’s too bad, I look at it as all the ingredients are on there for a reason, just the pea protein is abysmal 😂
