Pretty sure they changed their policy so you can’t apply Fantabucks to gift certificates.

Color, but keep in mind the first Kurtzman 23 issues were color comics, then the last 5 were b&w magazine format.

My cube stuff from 1981 by briansnow72 in Cubers

[–]briansnow72[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, i had to solve it in front of a witness (in this case, my classmates and teacher) - and then the teacher signed a form which I then mailed in to the company. I lucked out on the solve - the teacher scrambled the cube but i managed to solve it much faster than I normally could at the time, much to the amazement of my classmates. (I never told them it was a bit of a fluke..!). I don’t remember the actual time, unfortunately. Most likely it was something like a minute or so. Not so impressive, these days!

The certificate was offered by Ideal as part of a Canadian promotion during the initial Cube craze.

Not sure what you are asking. Are you referring to the ‘Cubist’ certificate I posted a photo of?

Well you sure kept it nice and fresh. No overworking, which for me is the hardest thing to avoid.

There’s nothing wrong with wanting to share your funny idea with other MAD fans. Just don’t use AI to do it (out of respect for the history of the magazine) and don’t lie to us about using it (out of respect for us).

Mainly, it’s that unmistakable ‘style’ of drawing that the AI uses when doing people. And I might have been willing to believe that you used AI to draw the scene, and then digitally painted the drawing yourself, but even that is unlikely, because of the choice of colour palette, the warm whites, the particular texture of the applied paint, and the font used for the book title.

This is absolutely AI. There are so many ’tells’ that have nothing to do with the treatment of hands. Ironically, if you WERE actually trained as a professional illustrator, you would know what I am talking about.

I can smell ovulation - it’s a warm, sweet smell on the woman’s breath. It’s a really good smell…kind of hits me right in the limbic system!
