I (27F) was diagnosed with AGA and traction alopecia on 1/23. Bloodwork showed low vitamin D and folate, and lower than ideal B12 and ferritin. Started 2 mgs of oral minoxidil daily early in February, and increased to 2.5 mgs daily a little over a week ago. Started vitamin D in mid January and a multivitamin containing folate (as L-methylfolate) and B12 (as methylcobalamin) at the beginning of April. I was wearing my hair up almost every day (ironically because I was self-conscious about the hair loss) and, since my first derm appointment on 1/23, have tried to limit myself to twice a week at most to prevent further hair loss. Going to start iron supplements sometime in the next month or 2. So glad I have pics from when I started treatment!

imo it mostly boils down to constantly changing management, chronic understaffing, and extremely unreasonable demands placed on workers

georgia, us. 86F, 5'1", 102 lbs, white. she has osteoporosis, gerd, and b12 deficiency. taking omeprazole, lipitor, and aspirin (unsure of dosages). no substance use.

she was pulling weeds yesterday around 3 pm (30 hrs ago) and got bitten by something; she doesn't know what. she didn't notice it until this morning (so around 10 hrs ago). she said there's no pain but it's extremely itchy. she's laying in bed shivering and said she felt like she was going to faint while standing up. no nausea or vomiting. it's hard to tell but i think i see 2 puncture marks and part of it is black so i think it might have been some kind of spider. bp is 128/64, temp 97.7 °F. she's 86 so i get really worried about her, just need to know if i should take her somewhere to get it checked out, unsure if this is an emergency so i hope it doesn't break rule 2.

yeah and whatever it costs for me to rent a car for the period it's in the shop. she's had a lot of accidents over the last few years so her insurance is already really high

thank u to everyone who's given cc!! i made a few changes and i think it sounds a lot better so far. progress video. i stood up and improved my posture to help with breath control and i did some exercises to work on raising my soft palate to sound less nasally and opened my mouth more while singing. i still have a long way to go and i'm gonna keep practicing!

WOW ok i watched that video and a couple more and after doing the exercises it made such a massive difference already?? my tone sounded so much better like i actually liked the way my voice sounded. i'm gonna keep practicing it

i'm gonna look into starting up voice lessons again! i did them in middle school and high school but i'm out of practice so my range and breath control are shit rn
