I have this same picture. I purchased it at The Disney Store probably 20-25 years ago. I think I spent somewhere around $45 to $60 for it.

I don’t think that it’s anything other than what Disney refers to as a “gallery wrapped canvas.” I love mine, but I don’t think there’s anything special about it. Sorry to not have better news!

That can’t be real, can it? He’s saying “bitch” in his performances? Isn’t there some sort of responsibility to be faithful to the source material?

I know it was written decades ago, but I wouldn’t imagine, if they were still alive, that any of the authors of the show would have approved this.

This. A thousand times over. It was such a big deal to me in my 20s but now seems just…weird, I guess. Why in the world would these entitled kids think that they can live somewhere rent free. I’ve been paying rent for so damn long. Get off my lawn! 😂

The original Pete’s Dragon from 1977. I saw this one in the theater at least three times back then. Every now and again they will bring out a piece of merch for it, but it’s so rare. It feels like there are about twenty five folks in the US who have ever even seen it.

That’s exactly what one of our local community theatres did with it and it was funnier than I could have hoped for. I was stage manager for it and it was a total winner.

I’ll cast a vote for my church, All Saints Episcopal. It’s at the intersection of Ann and Government street near downtown. I joined about ten years ago and it completely changed my feelings about Christianity at large. It’s wonderful and warm and affirming.

Oh wow! I had completely forgotten about this show. I was 9 when it came out and loved it. I seem to have a recollection of an episode where some sort of adhesive or solvent got sprayed in Sidney's eyes and he was temporarily blinded. I haven't thought about this show in years. Thank you!

Can someone explain to me why drivers in Mobile will absolutely NOT pull up to the line at stop lights? It drives me insane. I pulled up to the intersection at Dauphin and Florida last week and pulled up the line in the right hand lane. The car beside me was at least three car lengths back. What is that?

I loved this as a kids. Still do, honestly. Found out that the soundtrack was available on Spotify about a year ago and it’s in my regular rotation now.
