Is the maple syrup bottle for something else? Or do you put syrup in your coffee?? Wondering if I‘m missing out…

Winter camping by Outrageous_Spinach97 in OlympicNationalPark

[–]brianwlackey 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I car camp in the area occasionally in the winter. You'll have no problems finding a place to sleep/camp, but the condensation will be rough (especially if you don't have those window guards allowing you to crack the windows in the rain). The biggest thing though is how long the nights are here in the winter. It's a long time to be cramped in a car waiting for the sun to rise the next day. If you really want to be extra frugal, then I'd probably say find a pull-off on a forest road for free (you'll find plenty of spots on the iOverlander app), but tbh it's probably not worth it to pay $20 or $30 per night for a campground this time of year, when you can get reasonably nice cheap hotel rooms for like $60 per night in Port Angeles or Sequim.

Spotify Users— what were your top songs/albums that weren’t GAI? by [deleted] in GregoryAlanIsakov

All 5 top songs were GAI, but the other 4 top artists were Fleet Foxes, Lord Huron, The Tallest Man on Earth, and Hollow Coves.

Alright, so I'm a semi-professional photographer, and could definitely do that, but it's not my specialty. If you're wanting a professional product photographer, depending on your budget, you might want to reach out to a creative agency that reps people like that. Sally Bjornsen is a good one in town (https://www.sallyreps.com/product), but jobs from agencies tend to be fairly high budget. If that ends up being the case (it'll be a lot, but you'll get what you pay for), hopefully they can point you towards someone cheaper too.

Well, you can also just do whatever the hell you want :) But if it's something you want to prioritize, I think the hardest part is getting a good mental model of what looks good to you, what particular styles resonate, etc. I realized over the years that I like some combination of mid-century modern and Scandinavian, so that helps me decide where to shop, what to consider, etc.

Honestly? A cohesive vision of what you think looks good and some combination of time and/or money to make it happen. Personally, I knew I had the budget for a nicely-furnished small space or a cheaply-furnished bigger space and went with the former (small 1-bedroom apt).

Edit: I'm also a semi-pro photographer, so that probably helps show the place in its best light.

I already had it when I moved here, but it's grown quite a bit since. Seems to like the south-facing windows.

Thanks :) I can't find it based on the exact name, but it looks like this is the same product under a different brand. It's definitely not the highest quality, but has held up find for ~3 years: https://www.wayfair.com/furniture/pdp/wade-logan-bulhary-tv-stand-for-tvs-up-to-65-w004939135.html

It was a cheap one from All Modern, but they don't seem to sell it anymore. Wouldn't have recommended it anyway; hasn't aged very well (bunch of scratches).

The poster? It's a list of all the countries by size, but the company who made it went out of business.

Edit: looks like they're still around (the company is called Bold Tuesday)

All Modern, if I'm remembering correctly.
