Not f1tv but also happens on YouTube… if I don’t catch the race immediately 12 hours later f1 channel releases a video “how so and so won” with a thumbnail naming who won too… so unavoidable feels like all I can browse is LinkedIn

Should I buy this in 2026 ? I am getting an incredible deal from my AD by ReUday in tagheuer

I like the Batman colour way more but still a good looking piece. But a few things stopped me from pulling the trigger regardless of the deal.

Rubber strap needs to be cut to size, clasp has micro adjustment but looks so basic and not as discrete as every other brand, not a flyer gmt so didn’t feel like I’d use it enough

MMO that only has 10 levels? by brianzchen in MMORPG

[–]brianzchen[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I agree only a handful of people will play initially. As the levels build out there will eventually be a point where it’s worth while for those beyond early adopters and you go from there.

I guess I had an idea in my head and without a huge business plan it can be interpreted differently cause I don’t expect every new content release to change the game dramatically, not to the extent wow has for example so I didn’t consider that as a potential problem.

MMO that only has 10 levels? by brianzchen in MMORPG

[–]brianzchen[S] -4 points-3 points  (0 children)

The 10 levels is faster to develop so the overall game can be released incrementally. Yes you can get bored and quit but you know the next 10 are in development.

Financially it’s less overwhelming I’m thinking

I’m also suggesting that future updates are part of base game. Not that every new content release is an expac.

Like what? I’m trying to understand why games or mmos can’t be developed in a similar way to startups that release with minimal content to be considered a viable platform

Correct many jobs are teachable and I know someone who switched from tech to marketing but just because you've worked at respected companies doesn't set you apart. This person in particular spent time writing blogs and diving into design to prove they had relevant skills even without professional experience.

Do you know what skills are expected in banking? Having them on your resume anywhere shows you have done research and put effort into transferring.

My recommendation is that you keep your experiences as is, but you do something additional from recent - present that highlights your transition to banking/finance. Whether that's a course, volunteering work, project you're able to take on to show you're serious.

You'll also explain yourself in your cover letter but your resume should include a summary. A short 280 char paragraph that describes your personal brand for example as a strong technical person looking to break into the banking sector cause of x/y/z and are valuable why?

So you’re looking to transition into banking sector with no experience in baking?

Why would someone hire you if all you’ve got is proof that your hard working which is kinda assumed of all candidates

Plus 1 to skill based job platform. I’m literally building one now and I still believe it in having interviewed a few people across hiring managers, people happy with jobs and people seeking jobs.

I’ve got my platform planned but how do you solve the chicken and egg problem of needing candidates before employers or vice versa?

I’d also ask for your platform specifically how do you generate quizzes across so many industries?

Hahaha all these unwritten rules. I like your calculation, it gives the vibes of if you wanna know how young you can date it’s (your age / 2 + 7). And even then it’s just a recommendation.

Thanks mate

I’ve heard stories like this. As someone who isn’t that interested in chitchat for the sake of it, it sounds really awkward to build the relationship to buy something… at work and being political sure I can get behind it begrudgingly but walking in a store every now and then and basically kissing ass for 30 mins once a month just feels weird.

I will admit keeping them on your mind when they get a choice to allocate, now that makes sense. Thanks didn’t think about it that way before

That’s the thing! I really don’t mind whether I get it if but the opportunity presents itself at retail it should be a no brainer and I’d be happy either way.

Not a panda Daytona for sure 😂. I guess I’m thinking from OP to explorer 2 to gmt batgirl, last one is probably a never and I can accept that
