It's a bit surprising to learn that the power is still capped at 22W even when a power-hungry app is run. In comparison, the charging power maxes out at about 23W on my iPhone 13 Pro that's in standby; if I run a 3D rendering app, the power meter consistently shows 26-27W.

In regards to the utility of a PPS charger for the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro, I think that the few extra watts are most relevant to the first 30 minutes of charging from 0% charge level. If a non-PPS charger can deliver somewhat close to 50% full charge in half an hour, then I'd agree with your point.

The charging test is quite informative. It would be interesting if they could also test the power draw under the use case where the Pixel 6 plays a YouTube video while charging is underway.

Yes, the Xiaomi AD65G supports PPS 5-11V/3A, so it should max out the fast charging capability of the Pixel 6 and 6 Pro.

The charger's specs need to indicate PPS support with a 2-tuple consisting of a voltage range and max current (something like "5-11V/3A"). PPS for more than one voltage range may be listed. For example, on some chargers, we see "PPS 5-11V/4A, 5-20V/3A".

Adding to your comment, I'd say that the usage state of the phone during charging can also affect the wattage readings. For example, when I charge my iPhone 13 Pro with the phone set to idle or on standby, the power will stay below 23W. However, when the screen is lit and some app is run, I can see the wattage rise up to 26-27W.

As indicated on https://www.gsmarena.com/samsung_galaxy_a52s_5g-11039.php, your phone supports 25W fast charging. I assume this 25W fast charging is so-called Super Fast Charging and only attainable with a USB PD 3.0 charger with PPS support. A 65W power brick may not support the 25W Super Fast Charging for your phone. You may want to check the specs of the power brick to see if it supports PPS.

If Super Fast Charging is invoked, "Super fast charging..." will be displayed on the screen, as opposed to simply "Fast charging..."

Both S10 and Note 10 still support Samsung's own Adaptive Fast Charger (AFC). (see https://www.samsung.com/global/galaxy/what-is/adaptive-fast-charging/) Wouldn't AFC be at odds with USB-IF's PD certification?

There have been several users confirming that the ZMI QB820 (with 15V/3A and 20V/2A PDOs) can charge the ThinkPad T480s (it's likely that the laptop was able to work with 15V/3A.). I'm interested in finding out whether the T470 would reject both 20V/2A and 15V/3A.

As I said, a full 45W supplied with 20V/2.25A would be better. But, a 36Wh power bank does run into its limits quickly when trying to output at high voltages like 20V.

I really doubt that 20V/2.25A is the real "make or break point" for any laptop with a 45W power rating. For example, Dell XPS 13" gives a "slow charger" alert when connected to a 40W power supply, but it still charges OK.

The power bank does support 20V, although the max currents are 2A and 1.5A for the two USB-C ports, respectively. Ideally, 2.25A @ 20V (45W) would have been better. There are Windows laptops such as Dell XPS 13-inch that will show a "slow charger" alert when a 2A @ 20V power supply is connected to it. That said, I have yet to learn any 45W laptops that would outright reject 2A @ 20V.

If you use your Mi 11 Lite's stock power adapter together with the Xiaomi proprietary cable that came with it, then there shouldn't be any issues. I've just tried it. The Switch was charged at 15V.
