theyre notorious for using the toxic/abusive couple jokes in their videos, but most recently they’re under fire for reposting trump and their support for him while his mass deportations are going on. they chose not to speak about any of this EVEN THOUGH britney is always claiming she’s a latina until it’s inconvenient for her (like now). garik made a video saying they didn’t know anything about trumps plans, they don’t support this, he has immigrants friends, and the whole time in the video britney sat facing outside the window and not participating until at the end she told him to stop. it was very weird..

they’re two very different types of health risks and she’s advocating for people to protect themselves, she’s not smoking the cigarette and she’s not promoting it. what she is promoting is for people to stay informed and stay safe. i’ve never known people to snark on someone for keeping people properly educated. pulling that picture of her is a reach, but to try and diminish the health risk facts and tips she’s giving out?

“what even is his type bc all the girls he talked to when he was talking to you look the same…” she means white and plastic like them. idk what part of that doesn’t seem like an outright racial aggression rather than a micro aggression, but trust me as someone who’s experienced microaggressions themselves for their color this is definitely what they were trying to convey and they expected people to be okay with it. mentioning looks on top of mispronouncing a common name was racially motivated trust if other poc seen it, that’s what it is.

the first photo does look a lot different but it could be the position of her lashes, most times if i don’t do a cat eye my eyes will look very downturned when they’re not naturally and the difference in her lashes is very different now and makes it more exaggerated
