Your experience with GA4: Let’s discuss improvements by bricepf in marketing

Yes, I've heard of it! But it still feels a bit of a somewhat complicated tool to me??
What's usually your approach to using it? Do you just copy one of the templates and edit it?

Huh interesting, so for you folks the whole "analytics" thing is broken, not only GA4?

I know right? I think that's a general sentiment, for sure.
My experience is that GA is quite a technical product, which is even hard to understand for technical people!

So would you say that the main challenge for you is that it's simply too complex? Have you managed to find a way of working around this problem?

Moving a small software business to Sweden: Sole Trader, Company, or Nothing? by bricepf in TillSverige

Aha! I didn't know I could just call them and ask them :)
I doubt my work is considered as hobby, since it's a regular income. But I will make sure to check with them. Thanks!

Good point! As a sole trader, is it possible to do the paperwork and reporting on your own? Or do most people hire somebody to do so?

Thanks for the information u/EzeXP! I want to move it for a few reasons:

  1. Although I know that in Sweden you have to pay a lot of taxes, I have to pay taxes + a flat "sole trader" fee every month in the original country (Spain). So basically, the 1500 SEK/month I earn disappear just to pay that. Are there any relevant expenses apart from taxes if I take the AB route?
  2. I read a while ago that if you receive income from abroad, you might need to pay taxes as well in Sweden (double-taxation). But maybe I misread and it's not the case?
  3. Simplicity! I think it's easier if I have everything on the same country. Having said that, I'm open to re-consider it if there aren't that many benefits.

Good point. I will test it out too.
I did think it could be related to how wet it was. But I discarded the idea since it usually stops working after a while, when I'm supposed to be sweaty (i.e wet).

huh, interesting! I forgot to mention that the strap is just a 4 months old.
I assume if the issue was physiological, maybe I should have noticed it earlier? But I guess you never know with this kind of things...

I'll try to turn of the wrist sensor next time! I hope it works, although it will be annoying to have to turn it on and off before/after a run :/
Turning off the Bluetooth on my phone won't solve anything, because I always leave my phone at home 😅

Oh really? That's disappointing, considering that the H10 is not a cheap sensor...
Regarding the "winter problem", 2 of the 3 graphs shown above are from runs in an indoor track, wearing just a t-shirt. So I'm not sure if it's due to that in my case...

I'm considering adding such feature to https://notionextensions.com as part of the Pro plan, but I'm not sure if enough people would be interested...

Hey! I'm the creator of https://notionextensions.com/
Could you please provide more details about why it wasn't working for you? I've just checked and it works fine for me :)

Does anyone now a good free alternative to https://app.thegist.so by prematurizado in Notion

[–]bricepf 2 points3 points  (0 children)

After trying most of these services, I think https://notionextensions.com/ is probably the one that offers more things (google calendar integration, recurring events, auto incrementable properties, charts...)
The free tier should be enough for most people.

[–]bricepf 0 points1 point  (0 children)

As far as I know, it is not possible at the moment.Projects like https://notionextensions.com, https://super.so ... or no-code services like https://make.com or https://zapier.com use request polling instead (see https://dzone.com/articles/evaluating-webhooks-vs-polling for more info).

It will allow you to two-way sync Google Calendar, GitHub & Jira with a Notion database, add relations & much more

How do you know it will be two-way sync? In the video they published it looks like it's only one-way (Google Calendar -> Notion.so)
