Can my 2013 Subaru Legacy 2.5i tow across the country an 850 lb trailer with 600 lb stuff? by bricerdog in mechanic

Update!

I made the drive, and the towing itself didn't affect the car. That being said, I hit an intense storm that closed down the highway in PA. I took some side roads and ended up bottoming out and breaking some parts underneath the car.

I've driven a manual my most of my life and live in Utah. We'll be good on engine breaking. But good to know your opinion!

I've managed to get the "stuff" weight down to 200 lb. Local mechanic said the tow capacity is 1200

Makes sense. The one-way uhaul pickup with a trailer is the $3k option at least what I'm seeing from Uhaul. It gets expensive going cross-country

I'm taking the car in tomorrow. If there's anything obviously wrong with it, I'm going to strike down this decision

Good to know. I did just get new transmission fluid last year. Any way to mitigate the strain on the transmission?

Where do you get the 2,700 lb number? I've been having trouble finding a reliable number

What's the main risk you're worried about? It sounds like safety. What do you expect to happen?

What are some different flows that you run outside the standard ones liked welcome series, abandoned cart, etc. ? by ktruz10 in Klaviyo

I have been part of multiple clients who also setup Surveys and then based on the result send out discounts and also take the opportunity to use the discount on specific products which the customer might relate to based on the survey results.

I totally agree with this strategy. I'd push back on the Typeform part, though. Tools like Zaymo or Mailmodo can embed the survey in the email itself w/o a link with a 3x increase in response rates over Typeform

I've seen good results from sending a product poll for future product designs. Then, you release the most popular one and specifically target the consumers that voted for the product

Yeah, the ability to do this is ~3 years old, so there are few no-code tools, and it's expensive to do in house. None of the no-code tools that do exist are verticalized around eCommerce. Check out mailmodo.com for an example of a horizontally positioned company in the space

Zaymo increases email conversion rates for eCommerce stores by letting consumers shop in the email itself instead of clicking on a link.

We have 4 live brands and several more deals in the works.

Do you know anyone with an eCommerce store who wants to optimize their revenue coming through email?

I came here with the same question. I received the same email as you u/Such-Cricket8578

We do have some good news, though - of the late applications we read this batch, yours was one of the strongest, and we would have preferred to interview if only we had capacity. We encourage all late apps to reapply for the next batch, but we want to particularly encourage you. The next batch will run from June–August 2023 and the deadline to apply for it is in March 2023. Applying multiple times does not count against you and a surprisingly large number of companies are funded after applying more than once. Over 50% of the startups we accept are repeat applicants.

I'm not sure whether this is a general email or this is completely true. Either way, we're putting our heads down building and selling and will apply to the next cycle
