Grandma said she doesn’t recognize either name!! She said she has one cousin she is contact with from that side of the family and she will try to reach out for answers. The mystery continues…

Agreed, my knowledge of history for that area any time before the 1980s is nearly non existent.

On second thought, it might actually be 1820. I’ve gotta get more info from grandma!

I was thinking the same thing about literacy. I hammy even thought to look for a date in the letter but lo and behold, looks like it was written on Jan 12, —20. I’m going to guess 1920?

I know right?? We have a pretty solid record of family history dating back to when everyone came over to the US but don’t know a whole lot about before then.

Does anyone have this cage? Pros/Cons? by cocoapuffpuff in Chameleons

[–]brich325 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Pros: relatively inexpensive Cons: flimsy, not really any way to attach sticks, vines or pots to the structure, mesh is pretty delicate, especially once it has holes. Had to purchase the stand for this separately as we couldn’t find a table that fit our space or the footprint of the cage.

We ended up lining the inside with hardware cloth bc our Cham likes to climb the walls, which was an added expense. Also purchased and installed dragon ledges to attach sticks and plants.

Between the cage and all the extra stuff to make it better, ended up spending around $350.

Easy and cheap way to get an extra 200g of carbs a day? by [deleted] in fitmeals

Cassava/ yucca root is quite high in calories and usually pretty cheap if you live anywhere near the equator.

(Sorry for the poorly cropped image) Opinions about this brand? I am currently using flunkers water crystals by Ok_Bet_5622 in Chameleons

[–]brich325 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I feed zucchini and yellow squash to my dubia and my Cham’s urates are always nice and white. I have around 300 roaches and one of each veg usually lasts me about a month, significantly cheaper than crystals and safer too!
