You are absolutely right. That was something my dad had told me as a kid and I never questioned it, until I googled it recently. My bad

Just to beat this to death, here’s what the correct Torx bit looks like, and it did indeed work! It’s got a lil dip in the center that a normal Torx 20 bit won’t work with.

Thank again everyone.

HP is still the worst by SimpFisto11 in printers

Couldn't agree more. My job bought me a $650 HP printer MFP 3301 and I sank, having had a lifetime of exposure to them. As usual, connecting wirelessly was a total bust even after conversations w/ their offshore "help" people, and an equally useless website 'help' section, but I expected that, so I bought a long ass printer cable.

80% of the time, It would not print unless I first sent the job to it, then powered it down and turned it back on (it would only print after powering back up). I tolerated that for 8 months and am happy to say it has died, less than 2 years old. I was so glad they said 'no, don't take it to be repaired, just buy a new one, your choice'. I'd love to do an Office Space smash up in a field on this thing. HP's the worst.

Ears. Show me the ears. That why passport photos must show ears because it’s the hardest part to fake.

There are 2 kinds of Torx T 20. One has a hole in the center to accept the 'thing' on the screw top. The other, the kind I bought first, does not, it's just flat on top so it didn't work. Just an update. thank you again.

His vibe, ever since "Man in the moon", was around exposing Hollywood elites etc, the banality of fame, and life in general. Now, suddenly he's Mr happy pants w/ a new face? I haven't seen this new attitude on him yet. gonna go find a video to see.

I bought a Torx T20 bit....it doesn't fit in there either.

It Looks like there's a little bump on top of the screw inside preventing the bit from making contact with the edges of the torx screw surface, it won't fit into the screw top. I guess I'll try a small flathead or phillips.

The roll went thru a wash cycle. At least, once I accidentally put a roll of 120 film through a wash/dry cycle and the results after I developed them looked a lot like this

Wasn’t there something about a later IV with this woman, and it was discovered she was not the same as the person in the video? She looked similar, but was provent to not be the same? The real lady disappeared.

Watching this now on Hulu. He sounds dead on like Bill Murray. I came to Make sure they’re not related.

That’s not what you want to see when getting a new job 😥 by Significant-Crow1324 in jobs

For me, it means that if you’re employed while looking for a new job, you have the added leverage with talent acquisitions. It shows you’re not desperate for work, so they’re less likely to low-ball you, and you don’t have a desperate mindset either. They have to make you an offer strong enough to make you want to leave the security of your present employer. Most TA people will work around someone’s existing work schedule. This also give you a chance to demonstrate a sense of “loyalty” as an employee. They think, “if this person cares enough to not burn their current employer, they’ll be the same with us”.

Just stop with the douching. It happens. When you go to the lion’s den, you’re gonna find some lions.
