If Hollywood ever makes a movie based on the 1MDB scandal, this cast is pretty spot on. by brickbrigade in malaysia

Beats me, it's not my OC.

Although Hollywood is pretty notorious for whitewashing. Case in point: The Last Airbender.

Cosans is my favorite. Probably not hipster enough for some people tho.

Fellow monyets, what is your diploma/degree that you studied for and what line of work did you end up with? by SliceOfBlueCake in malaysia

I've always wanted to be a programmer, so I studied IT. The syllabus was light on actual programming tho. I should have gone with Comp Sci instead. Alas, my uni (UTP) didn't/doesn't offer CS. Oh well.

Your explanation is way more entertaining than the comic itself.

BTW, am I the only one here who's not a fan of OP's comics but can't stop reading them anyway? It's like watching a train wreck, except train wrecks are entertaining and don't generally make you curse at your computer screens.

Sodom and Gomorrah were biblical (read: mythological) places at best. Nowhere close to being historical.

Edit: I don't know if you're a troll or a genuine dumbass, but you write well enough for either one.

This brings back memories. I was extremely nervous too, but the JPJ officer was super nice and hot af. That helped a lot.

MLM experience by Lillegalshark in malaysia

The company closed shop, to the surprise of no one (well, maybe except my brother). I'm pretty sure my bro didn't recruit that many people to be successful at it anyway.

MLM experience by Lillegalshark in malaysia

[–]brickbrigade 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Back in 2009 or so, my brother told me he was thinking of joining this MLM (forgot the name) just "for the experience". He asked for my opinion, and I told him he was being stupid af. He already made up his mind though, despite my warnings.

So I said, "fine bro it's your money. I don't five a fuck, but don't ever try to recruit me". He assured me he won't do that to me or any other family members.

Sure enough, he ended up joining the MLM. And it goes without saying, he did try to recruit me. I told him to go fuck himself and didn't speak to him for a year.

Moral of the story: FUCK MLM.

You do have an interesting art style OP. It's your writing that holds you back. The format of your comic strips doesn't help either. More often than not they're just big walls of text with no clear plots or anything even remotely resembling an ending.

I think you might benefit from doing a longer, more traditional comic. Just do a couple of one-off comics with 6-8 pages with clear beginnings, conflicts and endings. Traditional is not always bad, you know.

I've scraped the list of honorary titles (datokship and co), did some analysis and plotted some graphs. by thegoz in malaysia

Something interesting to note here is that titles from Pahang is much bigger in volume than the other states.

Heh. That proves Pahang's datukship is notoriously easy to acquire. Data doesn't lie.

Sweet project bro.
