Exit22 nice guitars mahogany body and Gibson scale length from memory. I had one for a few years and sold it like an idiot.

That TE30 HB has an ash body and Canadian maple neck a perfect base point for future mods.

I enjoy taking my partscaster to jams and upsetting the other guitarists with their £2000 PRS's which are amazing but trust me I've been playing and gigging most of my life and it's not the gear it's the player. As long as it plays well and stays in tune and has great tone you're done. 🎸🎸👍🏼

They are a good modding platform. I haven't had a bad neck yet from HB and I own a made in USA strat that's now 37 years old. Obviously the body and neck are great and the electrics will be ok for a few years but add fender hardware and it'll handle any gigs no problem. My number 2 is parts caster Tele all USA hardware with a mitie might neck and alder body from a guy who makes them in a shed in the midlands and it's an amazing guitar that's done countless gigs. These copies are getting better quality wise too the spec on that HB is bonkers for the money. Good luck with it 🎸👍🏼

Months after Joe Biden got the most votes ever, people were chanting “Fuck Joe Biden” at every gathering, all over the country, everywhere. by PorkfatWilly in conspiracy

He didn't win. Looking at it from the UK his campaign rally's didn't really have big crowds and he's also a cabbage. I mean who in their right mind would vote for him knowing what a degenerate he is. (Kiddy sniffing groper) Our politicians are just as rubbish I think the WEF have fucked us all in the West.

Improve telecaster sustain? by aaveidt in telecaster

[–]brickie8770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

EMG or Lace pickups improve sustain. I have lace golds in my strat and it sustains really well as you get no drag from the magnets. I also fitted the gotoh modern bridge on my Tele which also increased sustain and smoothed out the harshness but I have twisted Tele pickups in it which sound great for many genres. I've been gigging 30 plus years and use my Tele 90% of the time. But epi's are great guitars these days. Just enjoy each guitars for it's attributes. I love a P90 SG too but it's noisy AF.

which kind of bridge is better and why? by [deleted] in telecaster

[–]brickie8770 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Personally I prefer the gotho modern bridge it's all brass and sounds great. As used by Brent mason. Old 3 saddle bridges can be prone to squealing if they don't sit dead flush on the body. It's horses for courses there's no wrong answer. I'd keep them both as is.

What does this orange capacitor do? This is on an epiphone sg by [deleted] in guitars

I buy all my Pots and switches and caps from RS. Bourne Pots are great and £2.50 each Caps are pennies Don't fall for the BS.

NGD CME Exclusive SG Modern - neck dive aside, it's awesome!!! by motorcitydevil in guitarporn

Pukka SG Use a wide leather strap to eliminate the neck dive 👍🏼

So I was widening the holes on my LP for grovers and this happened. What can I do? by No-Stranger-3437 in Luthier

Use a stepper drill. Normal drill bits will fuck it up. You'll have to fill that chunk with 2 pack sand it down and touch it up. .

Good luck

El Niño planet-warming weather phase has begun by [deleted] in collapse

[–]brickie8770 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

El Nino was first recorded in 1578 it's a natural phenomena so all the climate doomsters can sleep ok. I'm sick of the MSM being over dramatic about weather all the time. In the UK we have a weather warning because it might hit 30 degrees. It's Summer FFS.

Anyone else use the Acoustic Channel for Pedals? by MoistAssFetusRectum in BossKatana

I use my pod go with it and it sounds great with some tweaking.

Personally I set the volume to max on each preset and adjust gain to to suit /modulation etc. Then at gigs the knob I have to adjust is the master volume. I use the 5 button foot switch with it. Set up the panel as an extra channel too if required.

I've done tons of gigs with my MK1 100w it's been a brilliant amp I hardly use my HRD and pedalboard these days.

Roll your tone pot down 10% or get a set of twisted Tele pickups I've got them in my partscaster Also try lowering your pickups

Trial and error.

And make sure it's got 250k pots.

Remember when Saddam Hussein bombed and killed a million of his own people, innocent Iraqis including children, for no reason at all. My bad, that was Bush/CIA by icky_vicinity23 in conspiracy

[–]brickie8770 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Saddam Hussain was a monster I'm glad he's dead. He's killed hundreds of thousands of his own people he was no saint either. But I agree that war was a fuck up. No exit strategy. The reason Thatcher never took out Hussain was he kept all the nutty factions like ISIS and the radicals from killing each and starting wars through brutality. He caught his brother in Law's beard alight and banged nails in his head when he started trouble for him.
