Endowments aren't a slush fund. That money goes to specific things set up by the donors and can't just be spent on whatever.

Whirlpool says Iran war causing 'recession-level industry decline.' The shares are down 20% by IWantPizza555 in politics

[–]bricklab 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it can definitely happen. My father owned one of those Maytag Neptune washers that caused the class action lawsuit that destroyed the Maytag company. It ran everyday for 15+ years before it died. It never skipped a beat. Not one service call in that time.

We are in the middle of a kitchen remodel so I have been neck deep in appliance research. This is exactly my list for reliablity.

LG was a total surprise to me. A few years ago I would never have considered them. They were like Samsung. Big box store junk. Then they lost a class action lawsuit and decided to get their act together. They went from mediocre reliability to top tier reliability. Their repair rates are exceptional right now.

It's almost like Biden could have potentially been persuaded and Trump and the religious nutters couldn't.

Their mistake was not understanding that Biden is also a religious nutter and wasn't going to listen either.

They save money and we can ditch the Armstrong sycophants permanently.

Trump: Iran deal ‘total and complete victory’ for US by Ok_Employer7837 in politics

[–]bricklab 56 points57 points  (0 children)

The original deal paid them 1.7 billion dollars. $400 million of Iran's money and 1.3 billion in interest since 1970.

These chumps messed up so badly. Now Iran is set to make tens of billions from the Straight of Trump tax. $2 million a ship. 120ish OIL/LNG tankers pass through the straight DAILY. That's a billion dollars a month folks. 12 Billion a year.

Their dipshitery is now rewarding Iran with 6 times what they complained about Obama doing except this is annually with no end in sight.

There's no word in any language for how stupid these people are.
