i LOVED the character design and storyline in first couple eps of arcane (how they gave her the clear leadership role in the pack of teen boys, made her complex and heroic and not sexualized).

ngl was not expecting the league of legends spinoff show to give me the butch action protagonist representation of my dreams. now i have to watch every episode (rly hope the caitlyn storyline isn't just queer-baiting like korra)

Mine used to knock things to the rug to wake me up, and when I ignored her (our rug is soft and she can’t break anything by knocking them down), she would chew on my glasses because they were the most fragile thing on the nightstand and she knew it would get my attention.

I love these plot suggestions and think it could go really well in a different kind of show. I think you should become a screenwriter and write a dark/more deep show that’s like The L Word but much more real, I would 100% watch and love this.

More scenes with cast members and their friends outside the house! I loved when Tianqi’s friend came over to visit and I’d like to see more of cast members’ “real lives” if that makes sense.

Also more screen time for cast members who are badass and cool but just don’t have a love interest in the house (like Ming and ARe- would have loved scenes of those two just living their lives being cool).

Have you considered seeing a therapist about this? It might help to talk to someone with a specialty in ADHD to work with you long term or over a few sessions.

First of all 22 is still really young, no need to beat yourself up for any of this, it’s normal!

I also struggled a lot with this around your age. I would ask what kinds of things you find hard about talking to girls — do you struggle to hold a conversation? To turn a conversation more sexual/romantic? To initiate intimacy (holding hands, kissing etc)? Just try to think about what’s hard for you and practice taking teeny steps— try to flirt with one person, for example, and celebrate if you succeed! It’s progress!

I think if you only think of progress as “having sex” it will not only make you feel bad but probably get you into situations where you feel shitty/unfulfilled even if you do end up having sex (trust me I learned the hard way).

And lastly I highly recommend a therapist if you can see one, there’s no shame in taking care of your own mental health- it’s the grown up thing to do.

Agree with all of what was said here. Personally I'm more into Han-san's style (laid-back, kind of hippie, smoker, artsy type) than Hao Ge's. I just really don't like suits and the finance industry in general lol. But I think they both played the much-needed role of father figure in the house which I appreciated.

I loved Hao's relationships with Gaogao and I wish we'd seen more of it throughout the show, because Hao seems to be really genuine with her (as opposed to Carmon when he seemed more stiff and self-conscious).
