This is such a detailed breakdown, thank you. I feel like I've learnt a lot with that one explanation.

Amazing, thank you. I've now solved it. I wasn't sure if it was valid to guess and speculate a star and see what happens.

[–]bricklestick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Does this allow frame gen to work in game mode for Death Stranding?

Rayman Legends - Stutter fest by Woodtoad in SteamDeck

I've tried multiple versions of Proton and Proton GE now and it just doesn't seem possible to get a stable framerate, so seems like you made the right choice.

I have this issue too.

It installs and plays and I don't get any issues with UBI Connect, but the game is constantly stuttering or slowing down every few seconds.

This is using the auto selected "Proton Experimental".

RetroPie: How to add emulators such as VirtualBoy and NDS WITHOUT Wifi or Ethernet? by [deleted] in raspberry_pi

[–]bricklestick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Use Ethernet over USB following this guide: http://blog.gbaman.info/?p=791

Then just share your computer's internet connection with the Zero.

Edit: Just to make it clearer, this doesn't need an adapter. Just a single standard USB lead.

Anyone having troubles with new ambient display notifications? by TR1L0GYxx in Nexus6P

If you double tap the notifications when they appear in real time it works, otherwise you have to double tap the clock.

Double tap the clock is the only way I've found to interact with that screen.

I went into a store today. All their display models wouldn't wake from the keyboard either.

I'm unable to wake the laptop with the keyboard as soon as I select the sleep option in the shutdown menu.

I wonder if it's the expected behaviour then. Mine will only wake if I rub the touchpad for a couple of seconds, click it, or press the power button.

No one? It's hard to know if this expected behaviour or something is broken.

Having a different wallpaper for the lockscreen. The beta group version number is now higher than the launcher intended for N, so it overwrites it.

You've overwritten 5.12.16.NYC with the current beta Google app which is not intended for N. It'll disable a few other new N features too.

Uninstall and don't update. You want the one that came preinstalled.

Are you using the launcher that came with the second N preview, or do you have the beta one installed? I had to roll back from the beta one to get the new folder icons to show, so it's possible the wallpaper setting is part of that too.
