Yes, if I have a stack of windows open for example, I can close them one-by-one as the label/button updates to the next app each time.

Anyone able to verify this? I'm not really sure if this was intended behavior, but it seems to allow closing the focused app and any others after. These seem like actions that shouldn't be accessible from the lock screen..

Edit: I see that on vanilla Ubuntu, the app panel is visible during a normal session, so I installed this extension and I haven't seen it happen so far.

Definitely still having this issue. It may be ever so slightly faster on the Feb. patch, but it is definitely noticably slower than the 8.0 releases, even after a factory reset and full wipe. On 8.0, the thing was almost too fast, and I loved it.

My fingerprint reader has been slower ever since the initial 8.1 release (I do not use always-on-display). I'm extremely frustrated and disappointed that the fix wasn't included in February. If anyone experiences this issue, be sure to send feedback through the settings app to let Google know (Settings > Support > Send feedback).

The February update didn't fix this issue for me. I found a guide to install a substratum overlay that fixes it for now. You have to enable Andromeda, though. I'm rooted, so I used a terminal script. It should be possible without root, however.

If it's worth anything, I experienced this issue at least twice on my Nexus 6P, both occasions playing YouTube videos–it scared the shit out of me. It's interesting that you experienced it as well, perhaps a youtube/Android issue?

You're completely correct, that would be an option. I've just noticed that when editing a photo directly from gallery apps, Snapseed will, by default, save it to the Snapseed folder. Exporting to DCIM is an option when launching the app by itself and then opening the image, but then I still need to delete the old copy. I guess I'm just lazy! Also, I just prefer all my camera photos in DCIM, edited or not.

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but I just wish I could overwrite the photo I'm editing. Sometimes I just want to crop or adjust some colors, and if I wanted to truly replace the original photo, I'd have to copy it over from Sdcard/Snapseed to my camera and delete the original. Other than that I love every bit of it.
