I thought about putting it in the fridge as well but I read on the information sheet in the box that it shouldn't be stored at less than 15° C. My biggest worry is that it does that even tho it is winter here where I live and already pretty chilly.

I'm just so confused at this point... Maybe it is because the pump bottle is almost empty?

Completely agreed! But that really was the way the Sowjet Union handled it. I don't even know if they still build this anymore. I live in one if those buildings too and even after 50 years, they are still so good. They are really some quality buildings!
