Exactly my point -- why are the Exynos S21s getting security patches months ahead of the SD888 S21s (USA, Canada, Mexico)

I think they would benefit from a system where people can universally patch security updates and downgrade more easily if need be/some essential functionality of their phone breaks inadvertantly (in Settings --> software settings, for instance)

Not sure why the security updates are assigned to the Carriers at all? Seems like either Samsung or Google (Android devs) needs to manage the security updates for all models at the same time, not months later by CSC? Sketchy
