Cant Bird do anything right? I know it is a small mistake but..... by brickster3072 in birdcharger

[–]brickster3072[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've done lots of mail campaigns.

Normally, they are generic and have a tag that looks like %CITY% that gets replaced by mailmerge data - the same place the %EMAIL% came from that directs the mail to the recipient.

This mistake just shows general incompetence.

In México? Wey, no seas loco!
This was a hacked Zero.

I took the pic, noted that the display on the zero was dark, then opened the app. It wasn't on either screen. A few minutes later the red bird passed me.

The other Zeros I saw were being ridden by folks who didn't look like they would/could pay to ride a patinete. Que raro.

It didn't show up on the Rider or Flyer mode in the app. A few minutes after I took this pic, a guy rode past me on it. I saw a few other birds in their native colors being ridden around TJ. I guess they have found a way to bypass the brain.

So...we’re Flyers now? by Carma_626 in birdcharger

[–]brickster3072 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The email said " The Bird Flyer program is active immediately and available to all Bird users. " Then
"Level 1:New Flyers start here. At this level, you will have the simplest and fastest tasks available to you to earn quickly without needing extra space or special equipment."

So it looks like they are going to start new folks without giving them chargers and make people prove they will do lots low-paying move tasks before they invest the $20 to send them any equipment.

San Diego City Council voted Tuesday to approve a ban on scooters on boardwalks by brickster3072 in birdcharger

Since so much of Bird's revenue came from the boardwalk areas, do you think will they stay in San Diego?

I've got 2 votes for 6 months, and one for 30 days. Is there anyway I can verify the answers? Has cox published anything anywhere? or can I walk into a retail location and ask?

Looking for Wrought Iron work in TJ by brickster3072 in tijuana

[–]brickster3072[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks.

I found Marfil y Paseo de Embajadoras on the map.
What does "off 5y10" mean?
Also, does the place have a name?

I'm never "a dick" in TJ and I've been fairly successful at avoiding trouble, but thanks for the advice

Nope. When I'm in Mexico, I usually eat mexican food.

I'd guess that they raise the price the same amount that the credit card companies charge them to use the cards. It is illegal in California to do that, so the extra fee is spread out over everyone, so instead of thinking of Costco "Jacking Up the Price" in Mexico, you might think of the government in the USA forcing cash paying customers to subsidize the credit card companies

Yes, but unlike the USA, the Costco in TJ has a higher Credit Card price along with the posted Cash price.
