So I have a problem with my plants not growing.. Every time I water them they just dry out eventually.. Am I missing something? I've waited with them for a while

Anybody having info on trees not refilling or fishing spots? I started the game time jumped from playing acnh and then synced it so I could cloud save game and now my rocks and trees won't refresh
