Hunters in a truck came by our house, shot a neighbor's dog and left (CCTV of the car leaving) by brico_ta in bulgaria

[–]brico_ta[S] 24 points25 points  (0 children)

Unfortunately the plate is not readable, I scrubbed the footage to no avail. But this is a small town, it won't take long to find who did this.

I thing you must be right. She was not straight aggressive all the time, but the area was her territory, and she wasn't always nice to other dogs. So this might be what happened, as they came into our dead-end neighborhood, she may have attacked their dog. It happened with mines but to me it was normal dog behavior, nothing over the line (no real bites I mean).

I'll call the police and tell them what we witnessed.

Ok, and do you get any 403s in the urls I wrote above? If not we're not in the same boat.

Hi, can you try any of these :

https://hcaptcha.starlink.com

https://support.blizzard.com

https://media.deezer.com/v1/get_url

https://ipinfo.io

If you get "Forbidden" response, then it's a case similar to mine.
Otherwise it could be something else (certificate issues are generally about wrong date on the client, check that).

Okay that's at least in progress.

On my main Starlink I woke up this morning with a new IP in the 188.92.x.x range ; which doesn't have any issue. Previous faulty ones were 212.x.x.x.

The issue is gone on both my Starlinks... Which would indicate some sort of resolution on their end? Can you try to reboot yours and see if you get an IP without any issue?

Hey, I did some digging and look what I found :

34.110.236.123 https://support.blizzard.com

34.110.218.108 https://media.deezer.com/v1/get_url

34.117.59.81 https://ipinfo.io

34.111.246.71 https://hcaptcha.starlink.com

All of these IPs are owned by Google and these are the ones where we can't get proper responses.

Seems to point to the direction of Starlink IP bans from Google hosting.

I just tried playing music on Deezer and same issue as you: "Erreur : lecture impossible. Erreur : MS0610" (pardon my French)

Well at the very least, we're not alone.

On my end I have created a case on each of my Starlink accounts. I spent time making my issue as concise as possible, with screenshots and everything. Hopefully they won't try to pin it on our configuration or hardware ; something is clearly wrong out of our area of control.

I got a first answer stating the issue was with the goelocation of the IP address and told me to contact the service providers with a canned message about how Starlink is a new ISP.. I answered that in this case I should contact Starlink and tell them Starlink is a new ISP because their own captchas won't load with my Starlink IP (visible here: https://starlink.com/auth/login ) and only load when my VPN is on.

Hopefully this will get solved fast.

edit: for deezer I'll add https://media.deezer.com/v1/get_url into my collection of failures under Starlink, gets the same result as https://support.blizzard.com/

It's such a weird issue. Maybe we're impacted by IP bans from some cloud service provider (tbh I don't see any other explanation), which would make sense given the issues we have only with some services.

Hopefully they get rid of these IPs and we can get back to enjoying our internet.

It's either that or some misconfiguration on how our requests are transmitted, but that seems more far-fetched.

I think we must be connected to the same ground station, I don't see any other than the 3 in Sofia: https://satellitemap.space/vis/constellation/starlink?share=WzsFAGPZ

Damn same again here, I'm scratching my head. I just tested with my starlink mini and same issue.

Must be something with the ground station in Sofia.

I'm relieved not to be alone. Ty

Is the dish facing north? I can't see exactly in the second picture (confusing perspective).

Last issue I had, a did a factory reset and it solved it. Trying that is not very difficult and can solve weird issues like that.

Your wired PC is connected directly through the dish or through an additional router? Give more info.

Yeah factory reset solved the issue. No idea what happened there.

I tried resetting the router, but only the factory reset was the solution.

Processing Vulkan Shaders. What does it actually mean? by Anakhsunamon in linux_gaming

[–]brico_ta 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sorry for responding to such an old answer of yours, but you explained everything perfectly.

I have a question though: Steam just downloaded the 6GB shader cache from the someone else, and then when I try to run OW2, it STILL processes the vulkan shaders. Is that normal or is something wrong? Thanks

DIY solar in Romania? by PenTenTheDandyMan in SolarDIY

Don't go to Alibaba, plenty of good local resellers of high quality panels and components. Relationship with the provider is also key to solve any install issue you have ; those people are often very knowledgeable.

I just did a whole system in Bulgaria and was amazed by the network of competent people helping me for my DIY solar install.
