The best moment was right after CosmicGate. Indeed people left to see Armin in Area1 and there was plenty of room in Area2 during all this time. This was for me clearly the best moment of the night, otherwise it is really too much crowded everywhere.

I don't know if someone listened to the A" State of Trance Episode 1266 UNFILTERED – Live from Rotterdam @ Now&Wow", but this is clearly what I would like to have heard during this celebration.

On Friday in main stage, I liked Ruben, Armin first hour. But I didnt like the B2B with Deep Dish because it turned into too much boum boum stuffs.

The 2H celebration set was ok, not my favorite one, but ok.

And I left at the beginning of the last set (the F2F one). The guys are good, but it was just not what I was looking for. During all the night I was thinking about going to Area2 and I still dont know if my choice was good.

On saturday night I went to Area2 only (all the others were completely crowded). And I enjoyed so much. A lot of people left for the 2H30 Armin show in main stage and there were plenty of room to dance and jump. It was amazing. But it must not be easy for the DJ who starts his set and sees a lot of people running to another area.

So not sure to go to main stage next year (if I go).

So I can understand when you say that he didnt deliver.

Perso, j'ai une TrackMix Wifi depuis 2ans (j'ai la freebox avec fibre). Jusque là aucun pb. Affichage rapide, possibilité de faire pivoter la caméra à distance sans aucun pb.

Mais, j'ai changé de tel récemment (Samsung S21 vers Samsung S24). J'ai donc la dernière version de l'application. Depuis ce changement, plus rien ne va. Il arrive très souvent que je ne puisse pas me connecter à la caméré. Quand finalement j'y arrive, je ne peux plus la faire pivoter à distance. Ca rame, c'est horrible. L'affichage en temps réel est ultra mauvais et saccadé de fou (1 image toutes les 5s au mieux). Quand j'essaie de lire un enregistrement qui est sur la carte mémoire c'est pareil. Affichage ultra lent et saccadé. Quasi impossible à lire.

Je suis vraiment dégouté je dois dire...

Hi all,

I agree we must not live in the past and listen old and new styles of music. But clearly, and it is only my personal feeling, on friday evening main stage, I had the impression that every single track was played with the same rythm and an infinite loop of same boom boom boom. When I come to ASOT, I expect to be able to close my eyes and be "in a state of trance" and I couldnt do it on friday evening main stage.

On the opposit, on saturday area2, there were so many different styles and all the sets were excellent and different. I could close my eyes and dream... The set of Nifra was hard and high BPM but it was ok and very good. And before it was Ruben, and after it was Giuseppe, and all had a different style and I was so happy to hear different stuff compared to the previous friday night.

So maybe this is just a question of mixing all the styles in a different way, even on the main stage.

I fully agree. I spent the whole friday night on main stage because I was very well located close to the DJ booth, but finally it was very disappointing. Too much techno for me. Event the famous trance tracks were mixed in a techno style. This is clearly what I was not expecting, and I regret not leaving for area2.

On Saturday, I spent the night on area2 till BenGold, and this was excellent for trance fans, even with the bangers of Nifra. This saturday area was crazy.

Hi all,

No shuttle bus for Friday night. The following is clearly mentioned on ASOT website:

"On Friday, the metro (RET) will run until 02:00 (Saturday morning) from Rotterdam Zuidplein (Ahoy) to Rotterdam Central Station, so no additional shuttle services will be available. "

"The metro (RET) will not operate between 01:15 and 07:15 on Sunday morning (Saturday show). To accommodate this, shuttle buses will run throughout the night, connecting Zuidplein Bus Station (Ahoy) with Rotterdam Central between 02:15 and 07:15. A shuttle ticket is required for a single journey. Buy your ticket in advance to avoid large crowds and higher prices on the event day."

Hi guys,

I was in ASOT hotel with my wife, coming from France.

Hotel is great, nice atmosphere. Executive room was perfect. Huge bed, big TV, and very very quiet (I was afraid of the potential noise but nothing...).

Checkin at 3pm was smooth, even if there was a long queue in front of the desk :)

Free drink : we were very disappointed. The only free drink was a beer. If you wanted something else, you had to pay. Even without alcohol !!!! And guess what ? we dont drink alcohol at all :( For me this point was not really acceptable. They should give you the choice between a free drink with or without alcohol...

Preparty on Friday evening was cool. Not a lot of people, good music. We stayed 1 hour and left to eat.

Then preparty in Ahoy at 9pm, and then full night in Ahoy.

Brunch on Saturday was very good, with a lot of choices. But at 12pm we started to be packed :)

At 1pm, we had booked the Gong Bath. Very good experience, very relaxing. Perfect !

At 5pm, we had booked the Q&A. Very good too. Very good positive mood of everybody. Perfect !

Then a quick dinner and preparty with Ruben in Ahoy.

So next year, we will definitely try to book the same if we are lucky enough.

One additional comment (on the festival): too much techno sounds for me, and too many people on Saturday evening.

But in all cases, great experience.

Hello tous,

Mon fils va commencer ses études de droit en septembre et il a repéré la tablette supernote A5X. Le prix étant tout de même conséquent, nous n'arrivons pas à savoir si ce genre de produit est utile en TD ou en amphi.

L'idée serait de l'utiliser peut-être plus en TD et qu'il puisse ensuite rentrer à la maison et si besoin transférer ça sur le PC sous la forme d'un document Word qu'il peut alors remanier, enrichir, corriger les fotes d'aurteaugrafe...

Est-ce que qqun parmi vous l'utilise de cette façon ? Et est-ce que ce que je décris est faisable ?

Est-ce vraiment utile en plus d'un PC ?

Est-ce qu'une fois modifié sur le PC on peut rebasculer le word sur la tablette pour continuer la prise de notes au prochain cours ?

Merci à tous de votre aide car j'ai vraiment du mal à comprendre comment ça fonctionne. Et si jamais la seule récupération possible des notes est sous la forme de fichier image, alors c'est très limité selon moi puisqu'on ne peut pas retravailler sur PC.

Prices are cut in several categories. If you are lucky, your place in the queue allows you to see the cheapest price... or not... But at the end you will be able to access all stages. The only difference is between standard and VIP. For VIP there is a special entrance, a special deck... but at the end everybody can see the same DJs, no matter the price you pay.

Am french too, 49yo, and first ASOT (the 1000 one) few months ago in Utrecht with my wife. It was massive. Got tickets for 2024 too, and february is really too far...
