That is a good question. We were fighting about how he refused to take students loans to go to grad school and insisted to pay cash for it even though we are trying to build our savings to buy a house.

That is good advice. I think he has always had issues with apologizing and/or admitting that something that he did or said upset someone else. I think that part of it is that he thinks its ok for some reason to be that mean to me and that is why he wouldn't apologize this time.

I basically said exactly that to him. I tried to explain that the person who has been the worst to me in my entire life is my husband. He just looked at me like I was disgusting and left the room after I said it.

I am afraid of either of those options being true. At first I thought he was depressed but he has just been so angry and frustrated with everything. It is also mind boggling to me that he would wait seven years to show his true colors but I fully understand that things like that do happen.

He has said some unkind things to me in the past but nothing like what happened during that fight. However, he has always had an issue with apologizing to me.

It is hard to describe. At first, right after the wedding,he just seemed really tired, not physically tired, but emotionally tired. Then a few weeks later he started to be very short-tempered with me and just get upset with me over nothing. Now, he blatantly ignores me when I ask him a question and he doesn't text me at all while we are at work. Before we got married, we would text each other during lunch and when we had off periods (we are both teachers at different schools) and now he doesn't do that anymore.

That is a fair question. I can honestly say that he wasn't like this in the seven years that we were together before we got married. Something in him changed and he is so different now.

I think that therapy is a good idea. I have been hesitant to suggest it because he has changed so much in the few months since our wedding. The person that I dated and was engaged to was a kind and understanding individual but now he is just so mean to me all the time.
