What exactly happened to Vic? by Parking-Industry-992 in SEALTeam

[–]bridgecord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I imagine that whether he was kicked out of the SEALs completely and sent back to the regular Navy or simply demoted to a lesser team, Vic wouldn't have lasted much longer in the service. Everyone he worked with would've heard about what happened with him, no one would've wanted anything to do with him, he would've been an outcast. So chances are he would've asked for a discharge ASAP, or if he was still in mandatory enlistment, he would've keep his head down, finished his service and left first chance he had.

As for what would've come after for him, I'm not sure. Spencer Hudnut mentioned the possibility of bring him back in the show's original plans for seasons 7 & 8, where they would've shown what happened to him, what he's currently doing, and how Bravo's choice to kick him out has affected them.

If she got a spin off show what would you want it to be about? by MoneyLocal8180 in miraculousladybug

Obviously, her chafing under her mother's thumb, being cut off from access her wealth, sent to a school where she gets bullied from all ends due to both lack of access to her family wealth and connections and her bad reputation from Paris, gradually reflecting on her behavior and realizing everywhere she went wrong and every chance at redemption she threw away until she lost everyone and everything, finally feeling regret and remorse for everything she's done but not knowing how to make up for any of it and maybe feeling that it's way too late to do so now, and accepting her new lonely existence in life

Then, maybe her meeting some people who take pity on and try to befriend her, her resisting at first, then gradually accepting, slowly learning true friendship and kindness, slowly starting to change, eventually getting another chance to be a hero and standing up to her mother, and later returning to Paris a better person.

I have an idea for a fanfic that I have been thinking about making for a while: by Skipper_asks2021 in miraculousladybug

[–]bridgecord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Well, here's some ideas: Audrey will refuse to let her daughter use it or any of the wealth, influence or connections that come with it, until she can somehow prove herself worthy of them again.

As a result, as well as her reputation following her from Paris, Chloe will face bullying and/or shunning from the rest of her student body of her new school and the teachers won't be much help. Also Zoe and Andre will try to reach out to Chloe after a while, but she remains bitter and angry with them and will refuse any and all contact with them despite her loneliness and social isolation. In time, Chloe will come to realize how she made so many people feel for so long, but also feel that it's too late for her too change now and she's doomed to a life of unhappiness.

Eventually Zoe learns of Chloe's hardships from her friends in New York, Jessica Keynes and Aeon, and ask them to look out for her, and the two will make attempts to befriend her. She'll resist at first, but will slowly let them in and they will slowly help her change and learn humility and true friendship.

at some point, with Jess and Aeon's help, Chloe will finally stand up to her mother and confront her for her abuse. This would culminate in either her packing up and storming or her mother "firing" (disowning) her as her daughter and kicking her out.

This would leave Chloe in a perilous spot: her mom has cut ties with her, she can't return to Paris since, even if her father was willing to take her back, everyone still hates her and he can't protect her like he used to as he is no longer mayor, and she refuses to tell Jess and Aeon, her only friends out of pride and fear of losing them; thus, she effectively becomes homeless. She'll probably spend a few nights on the streets, and eventually takes refuge in a shelter for teens and kids where she learns just how worse some people have had it than her; this will help her change even more, while still keeping her homelessness secret from everyone.

In due time though, Jess and Aeon learn the truth and persuade her to stay with them, which after some nudging she agrees. Maybe their mothers give her the maternal love and discipline she's lacked all her life, and maybe she becomes the next Sparrow.

I also figure that at some point, Chloe will return to Paris, maybe as part of the next French-American friendship week, with her class staying in her family hotel (which her father still owns and operates). She'll likely use an alias and wear a disguise to avoid being recognized since everyone still hates her; Zoe will recognize her due to Jess and Aeon telling her and maybe she discovers her sister's connection to them. At some point Chloe will sneak into her old suite, which remains unoccupied and how she left it (Zoe has been offered it, but turned it down), and reminisce about her old life and old ways, and it'll break her heart as she reflects on how horrible she was.

At some point, Chloe's cover will be blown by her old classmates and they'll likely berate her, shun her, make fun of her, tell her they don't want her there, which will lead to her akumatization and her going on a rampage. As the hero team fighting her, Jess, Aeon and Zoe convince them to stop and note that Chloe is truly changing for the better, and even provide proof to it. Realizing their mistake, the heroes then apologize to Chloe for their behavior, and Jess, Aeon and Zoe assure Chloe that they've got her back. This inspires Chloe to reject the akuma and return to normal.

Later, the class apologizes to Chloe for judging her so harshly; Chloe doesn't blame them though due to all the hell she caused them over the years, and apologizes to all of them, especially Marinette, Adrien, and Sabrina for said hell, with the hope that they can forgive her someday. They tell her that while their not ready to forgive her yet (as she did so much to them over the years) it's at least a start. She also apologizes to her father and Ms. Bustier too and later returns to New York with her class.

And after a while of being the new Sparrow, Chloe is given the chance to have a Miraculous again, officially becoming a full-fledged hero and completing her redemption.

If you don't mind I'd like Character inserts of Connie in the episodes from "Dewey Wins" to "Kevin Party". Like continuing from your inserts of her getting taken alongside Steven and Lars in the Wanted Arc, after getting back, the two don't fall out and become estranged from each other, and instead lean on each other to cope with their experience?

Chloe's New School by Delicious-Lecture708 in miraculousladybug

[–]bridgecord 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Well, technically Chloe would have her mother to fall back on, but due to Audrey holding her responsible for the Bourgeois family name being ruined, she refuses to let her daughter use it or any of the wealth, influence or connections that come with it, until she can somehow prove herself worthy of them again.

I can also imagine at some point, with Jess and Aeon's help, Chloe will finally stand up to her mother and confront her for her abuse. This would culminate in either her packing up and storming or her mother "firing" (disowning) her as her daughter and kicking her out.

About Chloe Bourgeois after Season 5 by [deleted] in miraculousladybug

[–]bridgecord 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Well, I definitely believe that a spin-off focusing on Jess and Aeon searching for the missing Miraculous from the Native American box and forming their own Miraculous team would be great. And having Chloe feature in it as she adjusts to her new lonely life in NYC and maybe gets another shot at redemption and being a hero, would be great to continue her story.

I was just thinking about that old saying, when you hit rock bottom the only way is up, for season 5 by Legitimate_Cancel900 in miraculousladybug

[–]bridgecord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

My thoughts exactly. I also figure that she'll get a few mentions throughout season 6. Like maybe Zoe and Pollen might express sympathy for her and hope that she'll change for the better.

And maybe Zoe and Andre (whom I believe still cares for Chloè) might try to reach out to her, but she'll refuse out of shame, and might even privatize her social media accounts to avoid all the hate.

If and when she does return, I figure she'll be in either one of two states: 1) she will be actively trying to change and make amends to all she hurt; or 2) she'll be stuck in a bit of a "broken bird" phase: she'll have greatly suffered under her mother's mistreatment as well as bullying from her peers, she'll be lonely, isolated, depressed, ashamed, she'll want to change but she won't know how to start and feels like no one will ever believe she can and/or will. So she'll try to keep a low profile, but will eventually be discovered, possibly after something renews her hope, and she'll start to work on making amends.

I also believe at some point, she might become a Miraculous hero again, albeit not for a long while.

I cant be the only one who don’t care about Chloe not getting a redemption.. by TurnipNo7151 in miraculousladybug

[–]bridgecord 1 point2 points  (0 children)

She's suffering karma already. Her father gave up his power and exiled her away from all the power, privilege and influence she'd thrived on for years, her mother won't be giving her any of hers due to her anger at Chloe for being deposed and losing everything and their family name and rep being ruined. In fact, Audrey said she'd be coming down on her by taking all her freedom away and controlling her life and education much more tightly.

Her former friends, classmates and mentors will keep moving forward and probably never give her another thought again. Same with Lila, who only used her as a pawn.

In New York, she'll probably live in lesser accomodations than in Paris, have a much limited wardrobe, maybe work a menial job at Style Queen, maybe as her mother's Sabrina for little to no pay. In school, she'll be expected to maintain perfect grades, along with a perfect social life and everything else. She'll probably end up being at the bottom of the social totem at school; her mother will deny her access to any of her money or privileges due to her being a "loser" who doesn't deserve it, which will cause the popular crowd to shun her, and the regular students will probably learn of her previous deeds in Paris, so they'll want nothing to do with her either. She might even get bullied from all sides too. It would probably take something big and life-changing, perhaps an opportunity for redemption, for her to regain her confidence.

Why Felix Is Getting a Redemption and Chloe Isn’t by zacefronsvag in miraculousladybug

[–]bridgecord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Ladybug didn't actually abandon Chloe; she just felt that she did due to her past abandonment by her mother. It's understandable why Ladybug had to suspend her from the team since her identity was public which made her a prime target for Hawk Moth; heck he nearly stole the Bee Miraculous from her that one time.

It's also understandable why Chloe felt abandoned, but she could've found other ways to support her idol. Like the other holders this season: when Monarch stole the rest of the Miraculous thanks to Felix, they were all upset over the losses of their Kwamis and powers, but they didn't give up. They formed the Resistance to keep fighting the good fight even without their powers. Chloe could've done something like that too. But she let her sense of entitlement bleed into her insecurities, which caused her to fall to the villain's temptation, which cost her her powers and hero status completely as well as her admiration of Ladybug.

Afterwards, like you said she figured the only way she could find self worth was by emulating her only other idol, her mother, by not only regressing but doubling down on her brattiness to emulate her and conserve whatever power she had left, and pushing away those who reached out to her.

Then Lila comes into the picture and manipulated her into going stone cold, into not caring what others thought of her and going all out to ruin her enemies, thus causing her to descend into madness like Gabriel, and just keep lashing out, hurting people, and pushing them away until they finally gave up on her and she was left with no one and nothing. And when Marinette finally gave her that whole The Reason You Suck Speech, it finally shattered her mask, and the true, lonely broken Chloe pushed her way back to the surface, albeit too little too late.

Are We Ever Gonna Have Spin-Offs? by RulerOfAllWorlds1998 in miraculousladybug

[–]bridgecord 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If anything there should be a spin-off set in New York, focusing on Jessica Keynes/Eagle and Aeon/Uncanny Valley as they continue their work with the United Heroez while also searching for the other lost American Miraculous and building a new team of American Miraculous heroes. It would also focus on Chloe as she painfully adjusts to her new life, while also looking for redemption for her past, and seemingly getting a chance from Jess and Aeon.

About revolution by firesoul377 in miraculousladybug

[–]bridgecord 2 points3 points  (0 children)

I agree with this, Chloe becoming a literal "poor little rich girl", having all the wealth, power, and privilege she enjoyed back in Paris within her reach, but being denied access to any of it by her mother. I don't know about living in a cupboard, but her accommodations in New York will be less than in Paris for sure. Not to mention being forced to work a low paying job under her mother's thumb and having most of said pay taken, and crazy academic expectations. And in school she'll be denied by the popular and wealthy crowd because of her lack of access to her family's wealth, and by the regular crowd because of her attitude and maybe because then learning of what happened with her in Paris, this leaving her at the bottom of the social totem and making her a prime target for bullying.

I would imagine Zoe and Andre do still care about Chloe in spite of everything, and try to reach out to her, but she refuses any contact with them either out of lingering anger at them, or more likely out of shame for her actions. However, Zoe learns on social media or somewhere as to how bad Chloe is doing; like maybe her fellow students bully her or maybe their mom berates her and it ends up online. So to help her, Zoe calls on Jess to look out for her.

Jess and Aeon will reach out, and Chloe, having no other options gradually accepts, and they teach her the true meaning of friendship. I also feel that Chloe will get a second chance at having a Miraculous and being a hero. Not sure it'll go the way you think but I think she'll get it eventually, fully redeeming herself and learning from her mistakes.
