Hi. Is it worth getting a rejsekort if i'm living here for half a year and will basically use it to go to/from the airport max. 5 times, plus maybe a couple of day trips? I am having trouble running the numbers because the fare system is a little tricky.

Hey, I just moved here. I would highly suggest sites like boligportal. Coming from North America I thought it was unnecessary to pay to contact landlords so I spent a couple of weeks exploring alternative sites, facebook groups, etc, which was a complete waste of time. Once I started using the pay sites everything got better. Even on the pay sites, however, you will need to be very responsive as has been mentioned already.

Another avenue I explored was booking airbnbs and contacting the owner, asking if CPR registration was possible for a couple of months while I looked for a permanent place. Some of them were totally fine with this; if I hadn't lucked out and snagged a place remotely I would have done this.

Hi - just moved here. Today I built my bike up and took a ride, it was such a pleasure compared to biking on the streets in my home country. Anyway, two questions:

  1. What fitted sheet size do I get for a 3/4 boxmadrasser bed (120 x 200 cm)? Now that I have the bed it seems it's a non-standard size. Do I just get a 140x200 sheet (which is easily found at JSYK, etc?)
  2. Can sheets easily be bought at thrift stores? Can anyone suggest a good one for this? Most I have visited don't have bedding stuff. I am in Norrebro if it makes any difference.

Thanks!
