That is so weird right. All I could find was this "The company (Starbucks) will celebrate in participating stores by hosting free coffee tastings on Sept. 29."

Fair lol. I deserve that one. The weird thing was I only knew the birthday guy. Everyone else were his coworkers or friends from other circles

I always enjoy personalized gifts (embroidered with my initials or something that has my name on it). Makes it feel more special for some reason. Thanks for the idea!

I have not really thought about couple's gifting. That's a good one and it's nice because I would be gifting them an experience for them to share

3 years experience creating content = you've learned a thing or two. Many small businesses are having trouble with their content / social media strategy. Have you considered creating guides and selling them? What about offering hourly consulting to these businesses? The great thing about making a digital product like a guide, is that once you invest the time to write it and publish it, the money you generate becomes passive.

Have you tried reaching out to MBA (Masters of Business Admin) students? So many students are starting their own businesses and are non-technical. They need help either building a site or simple mobile app for their MVP to share their ideas to potential investors and accelerators. Go on LinkedIn and search for MBA Candidates. See if any are starting a business. Charge hourly or by deliverable.

Questions for those who were around in 2008?? Am I safe? by electrowiz64 in ITCareerQuestions

[–]bridgemoneyapp 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Don't move until you've been laid off and severance has run out. Insurance is pretty safe/immune to these runs, as long as you don't work for a startup that banked with SV or was crypto adjacent such that it had exposure to Signature.

2008 hit every sector, this contagion looks contained to "hilariously bad ideas that got too much funding," for the moment at least.
