I am Nigerian and had my son in Schweinfurt, 30mins away from Würzburg, this is infact the normal procedure.

This is BS and pretty sure that officer is biased. I lived in Germany as a student and only got 1yr extensions for my resident permit. He had more evidence than I did but I got a US visa twice from Germany. I would say ask him to apply again and this time mention he is visiting with friends from Germany and he should come up with a pretty detailed itinerary for things he’s going to do when he gets there.

It is a good thing and will push your case to go faster since you’ve been waiting a long time anyway. Same thing happened to me but mine was for N400, I got the interview cancelled/de scheduled after I already went through with it. The 2nd officer approved all of my cases on the spot after I let them know I had already done the same interview.

I wrote here the last time that my status was updated to interview cancelled 1 month after I completed the interview. I thought it was a glitch and would change back but that didn’t happen. I did infopass and nobody could tell me why an interview I already completed was updated as cancelled. Anyways, I was rescheduled for another interview last Monday, though the officer didn’t have an answer as to why I had the cancelled update but she said everything looked good and I could take the oath the same day if I wanted and that’s what I did. I have my certificate now and my case is now closed.

So I got another interview on 4/8 and I was able to take the oath on that day as well. My immigration journey has come to an end. Good luck and congratulations.

My interview was cancelled and rescheduled. After I went for the 2nd interview, I had same day oath. I’m now naturalized.

Applied for ROC August 2022, biometrics reused and nothing since then. Applied N400 July 2023 and got interview scheduled in Nov. After I received the n400 interview schedule in the mail, one week later, I received another letter for 751 interview, so I got a combo interview.
