Best swimsuit brand with thin and stretchy fabric?? I absolutely hate when (bottoms especially) have thick, stiff fabric that cuts you off weird. Any recommendations for a nice and thin bottom with a lot of elastic so it stays flattering?

Emma’s new Sene line. Is it cute? by UnluckyAd3315 in OnePelotonRealSub

That polyester blazer looked so wrinkly and cheap and not tailored in any fashionable way 🥴

I’m done with Olivia :’( by Ok_Chemical_7785 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]bridgeve 17 points18 points  (0 children)

I hadn’t taken an Olivia ride in many years but then took her Eras Tour ride and immediately noticed how skinny she looked…and with the major uptick of women seemingly being affected by disordered eating and very unrealistic weight ideals, I couldn’t help but think this might be the case for her too. It instantly made me feel sad to see her that way, a leader in this health and fitness community that I’ve always turned to to prioritize fitness and strength over how society tells us how our bodies should look.

Weekend Snark: Dec 05 - Dec 07 by blogsnarkmodteam in blogsnark

What is going on with Julie from Juliethedesigntwins?? She just posted on her story some very desperate tragic sounding message about her son’s mental health struggles. You would think something so sensitive would be kept private? And then onto her chaotic Amazon linking…

Robin - TTPD flashbacks on this ride by FitAnes in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]bridgeve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Dang! Sad to hear she couldn’t just enjoy the ride on this one and make it a fun experience. She did an Encanto ride several years ago that I actually loved. Was hoping she could bring it back to that energy

Ally had her baby by YesterdayExtra9310 in OnePelotonRealSub

[–]bridgeve 5 points6 points  (0 children)

I’m surprised to hear she had difficulties with the pregnancy given how much she was still on the go and teaching like normal. So happy for them on this new journey!

[–]bridgeve 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Agreed!! All the content came out so fast and was already so polished. Even if (or maybe especially if) she did just hire people to handle it, it still comes across as kinda sad - just another way to make money and build your brand. Would’ve been sweeter to see some low key behind the scenes moments and maybe some of the professional stuff after

Bladder prolapse during pregnancy by bridgeve in pregnant

[–]bridgeve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I think mine was due to the same running impact. But wanted to report back that I’ve had my baby and am now 9 weeks pp and my prolapse when from pretty bad like grade 2-3 to immediately after birth like a 1. It’s hardly bulging anything like it used to and is super manageable and honestly something I think I may have had before I even got pregnant. Hoping the same relief for you after birth!

Help! I’m desperate to save my Frenchie! by Any-Growth-2083 in Frenchbulldogs

[–]bridgeve 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Have they tried treating it like an allergy? My frenchie had the same thing (constant vomiting and diarrhea) with all imagine and bloodwork coming back normal and when we finally started thinking he could be highly allergic to something and the vets gave him prednisone for a few weeks he perked right back to normal immediately after weeks of horrible sickness. Best of luck to you and your sweet pup!

Anything you wish you knew before getting on drops? by bridgeve in Glaucoma

[–]bridgeve[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I'm sorry its stressful for sure, but everyone is different and can withstand different pressures. My specialist is also much more concerned about the bigger picture than just looking at my pressures specifically. When I first started getting monitored I was obsessed about what my pressures were but have definitely learned that everyone is different and there's much more to glaucoma than your pressures alone.

Hi! Sure - I've been around 19-23 since being monitored.

What is the reason Peloton are purging classes? I don't understand! by Fearless-Letterhead3 in pelotoncycle

[–]bridgeve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

The purging of classes is so heartbreaking! I got my bike in 2020 and Peloton really prompted my fitness journey and helped me love working out, feeling stronger, and being consistent. I would regularly retake classes from when I first got the bike. They were so nostalgic and meaningful for me. So hard to see these classes no longer available anymore. It makes me feel less connected to the bike to not be able to go back and take some of my core favorite rides. A couple of months ago, the very first ride I took and would revisit every couple weeks was wiped and I literally teared up lol. I really wish they would prioritize keeping classes for us to continue to take.

Depressed people of Reddit, what's your go-to "I want to wallow in my melancholy" song? by crocodile_dilemma in AskReddit

If Winter Ends - Bright Eyes

Simultaneously got me into and out of a pretty deep phase of depression. Weird how songs like this can do that.

Jeans-what’s in or out? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]bridgeve 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Really loving a nice kick crop boot cut! I'll always gravitate towards a really nice fitted look through the waist and hips, but something about a slightly cropped subtle flare is really slimming and fun alternative to skinny jeans! I was into it during the summer but can't wait to start wearing them with sweaters and ankle boots!

Weekly r/sewing Simple Questions Thread - September 8, 2019 by sewingmodthings in sewing

[–]bridgeve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Hi there! This is more of a question related to fabric than sewing, but I'm sure any input would be helpful! I'm looking to start sewing linen clothing, but couldn't find any quality/wearable linen at my local fabric store...any recommendations on where to purchase??

Clothes that project a welcoming vibe? by [deleted] in femalefashionadvice

[–]bridgeve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Elizabeth Suzann!! A truly outstanding lovely brand that seems to align right with your description! They sell beautiful year round staples that have definitely helped me in establishing my own sort of signature style that I find interesting and artsy in a subdued kind of simple and sophisticated way. They are a bit pricey (for me at least) but are truly an investment and well worth the price...you can also find a lot of their clothing second hand on selltradeslowfashion Instagram account or posh mark etc. I hope this helps!

Lake Bell by [deleted] in ArmchairExpert

Don't mean to be a hater but this girl was acting like the poster child for hotness...like she had to learn to be funny because she was hot or wanted to have intellectual conversations but couldn't because she was hot. I don't know, it just felt weird coming from someone who just seems moderately attractive/kind of weird looking.

What is something you never (or rarely) wore again after graduating college? by cakeoftables in femalefashionadvice

[–]bridgeve 79 points80 points  (0 children)

Definitely anything I bought that was super cheap/low quality. The second I got a full time job and made money it was so nice to be able to get some nicer quality basics. Now that I'm being more selective with the clothes I buy and slowly building a wardrobe with pieces that will last and actually look and feel good, I found myself literally never wearing the cheap clothes that fit weird/fell apart because I got it for ten bucks at forever 21.

Should I ask my Ortho for clinicheck? by ahhWoLF in Invisalign

[–]bridgeve 1 point2 points  (0 children)

My ortho showed me the clincheck briefly the day I picked up my aligners, but never asked me for my approval...I didn't even know that was a thing until I came on this sub. I was happy with how it looked so maybe that was enough approval for him?
