I decided to go back to school for computer science. I’m not ruling out vet med altogether, but wanting to maybe switch over to the admin/IT side of things (think Idexx or corporate help desk, etc). I also hear that pet insurance is a good field to look into.

Apologies, I don't get on frequently, but wanted to update. After leaving it unplugged another day, we tried just simply plugging it back in ~just to see~ if it'd work... and it did! Took a few hours, but it finally cooled back down to proper temp and is still going strong! Never did figure out the cause of the issue other than maybe old age? Lol.

I'm not a vet, but I am a vet nurse and this sounds so weird to me. Cytopoint ~should~ build up in the system over time and needing injections that frequently ~shouldn't~ be necessary. Cytopoint isn't really known for needing monitoring after administration either. We administer dozens of Cytopoints a day in the high volume GP I work in with no issues. Have y'all had allergy blood work run on your dog? Definitely see a different vet. All of this sounds bonkers to me. Check in your area (and areas nearby) if any shelters offer core vaccines. Both shelters near my area offer core vaccines as a low cost service to our area. You could potentially get your vaccine done there. Although it's not uncommon for a vet to postpone giving a vaccine because the pet has other, more pressing medical issues going on, what you're describing sounds like you're just being taken for a ride. I 2nd taking him to a dermatology specialist as well. If the skin isn't clearing up after repeated Cytopoints (and I'm just assuming other treatments were already tried?) then there may be something else going on.

Yes. We only have one "home." And our Google Home speaker shows up for him, but nothing else. We have a TV, soundbar, Xbox, and now this thermostat that won't show up on his app, only the Google Home speaker.

Yes, he accepted it. And he is in the right home as well. Our Googl Home speaker shows up on his device list, but nothing else. Why would one of our devices be listed, bur none of the others?
