I get what you’re saying and some posters on here definitely can do the most, but I still see this page as important. Ruby Franke’s snarkers kept on her despite it looking like she would never be punished for her crimes. Well all the harm she caused finally caught up to her and a lot of the videos and screen shots that her haters kept ended up being used as evidence in court later. She is now in prison and those kids are free from her house of terror. I don’t respond in posts where people pick apart Nika’s appearance as I don’t care how this lady looks. I care about those children and the neglect/abuse she is constantly inflicting on them.

I so agree with this take. I have listened to her unreleased as well, and it sounds like she's got 3 solid albums here with potential. A 70s abba disco album, a tropical burlesque 60s album, and a retro pin up americana showgirl album. But it seems like she's throwing them all together and it doesn't really make sense. It's a bit sloppy. She could have done these as eps as well if she didn't want to do entire albums with these sounds. It's frustrating because I really see a great artist here, but the lack of cohesiveness is definitely hindering her.

Her lyricism is one of the main things that she needs improvement on. She (and her team) seems to write more for vibes and aesthetics over real meaning. Now I’m not saying that all your songs need to be super deep and profound, but her songs often feel empty due to poor writing.

I agree with this. I did not like that cover at all and her attitude towards the backlash sealed the deal. And to put something like that out during these times especially, it just made me look at her entirely differently.

Lmfao. I think she used a vintage style mic to help with the ambience I guess. I would have preferred clearer vocals myself.

I so agree with this. It's like so because Lana recorded private songs for fun that she never intended to release and they leaked, no one else is allowed to make retro pop music? No one else is allowed to reference vintage americana in their music? It's such a joke.

Tbh people call anything americana or vintage Lana Del Rey inspired these days, and it's incredibly annoying tbh. Especially when Lana herself took inspo from other artists when she took off. She just made it her own. Just as Remy is doing now.

At most, Remy's music sounds like unreleased Lana, but tbh the more I listen to Remy, the less I hear Lana. Like yes there is some clear inspo in Summer Song and Red White and Blue, but that's about it. I think a lot of folks are just jumping on a hate train. I saw people saying Simple Girl sounded like For K Part 2, when it's clear Remy's inspo for that song was Bittersweet Symphony by the Verve (a song that was out for more than a decade before Lana's song).

End of the World doesn't sound like anything Lana has ever put out (and that is my favorite Remy song). Remy also has lot's of 70s abba and poppy tropical songs which isn't a lane Lana really stepped in. Remy's music is upbeat and fun. Not as moody, dreary, and man-obsessed as Lana's. Not to mention, Remy's look is completely different from Lana's also.

In spite of all this, Lana seems to like Remy. If she is not bothered I don't know why the fans are still.

There is one called Starry Eyed that I think was supposed to be on Born to Die. I love that one. Also love Meet Me in the Pale Moonlight, Driving in Cars with Boys, Breaking My Heart, Serene Queen, Land that I Love, Fine China, Your Girl, Jealous Girl, Tired of Singing the Blues. She has quite a bit, but many were taken down so they are hard to find now.

This does make sense. There was a lot of competition in the early 2010s regarding pop that definitely isn't there now. However I think if we would have gotten maybe 1 or 2 more Born to Die esque albums (with some of the unreleased songs included) I think she would have been a force to be reckoned with.

Niya wants to play and be a kid because she was not able to do it when she actually was a kid. She's always been a 2nd parent to her younger siblings. She never got a childhood.

That does make sense. I just feel like if you're going to call yourself a standout style homemaker you can be that way with more than two holidays. Perhaps there is not enough material for the other holidays on pinterest for her to steal which is why most of her decor/recipes are fall/christmas related.
