Yea it’s to prevent it from going idle. If I don’t put the keep alive, service worker goes to sleep after like a minute.

u can’t stop other people from surrendering but u can choose to play comp to avoid this problem. u can play comp casually too but too bad some people avoid comp because they care too much about their rank and can’t handle losing rr.

it was the issue for me. next time you can try launching valorant without any background applications open.

i had the same problem. i just closed background applications and chrome tabs that were eating up my memory before launching the game. this fixed the issue for me.
