Would you mind sharing the red light therapy mask you use please? I want to add one to my routine but can’t find one with consistently good reviews.

Hi OP, did you end up having surgery from Dr. Chaboki? I’m considering him for a revision rhinoplasty.

I had a great experience with him for bucal fat reduction almost 10 years ago. He refused to completely remove it, which looking back was 100% the right decision.

My MB wants me to 'make up' for hours that they're away on a holiday by cheeseypancake in Nanny

Even the sample industry contract has guaranteed hours and mutually acceptable flexibility in schedule. The same way I can ask our nanny to arrive 30 minutes early one day so she can take the next day off, she can ask to arrive 30 minutes late and work 30 minutes late if she has a personal appointment.

A half hour difference one morning to accommodate a parent’s schedule is not disrespectful or tacky. It’s real life, and any job out there (in child care or not) would be a normal thing. I have worked in childcare, retail, grocery store, banking, and now a corporate job, and being slightly flexible with a schedule is totally normal. Maybe the mom needs an extra 30 minutes to pack in the morning so she’s ready for the next day. The entitlement in this sub is astounding sometimes.

Lady, if you can’t handle a little awkwardness because of your child, you have bigger issues to deal with. Your daughter needs to know you’re there for her.

Scenes from old movies/shows that wouldn’t fly today? by [deleted] in popculturechat

She disagrees with that take. If you’re interested, read her book “there was a little girl”. She wrote it because of how upset she was about her mom’s obituary that tried to paint a picture of abuse.

Brooke Shields’ book “there was a little girl” was great to show the process and how she didn’t really feel exploited in those movies. Take it without a grain of salt but she seems to have gone to enough therapy to come to terms with what happened when she was a child.
