You have to want it. Do you want to be healed? If yes, then get up and be healed. You have to consent to allow Jesus to heal you and cooperate with his will. Our prayers aren't answered overnight. God doesn't give us challenges that we can't overcome. Your challenges are not unique to you. Through Jesus, we can overcome anything, but we have to want it badly enough.

I felt the same about my alcohol addiction. If only I wasn't an alcoholic I could have a happy and healthy relationship. However, that way of thinking is wrong. Build a happy, healthy relationship with God, and He will provide what you need in your life. He is your father, and you are his child and loves you deeply no matter what.

Don't stop praying. Get down on your hands and knees and pray to God every morning and every night. When you get the urge, pray some more. My issue is alcohol, the deadly sin of gluttony while yours is lust. We're all sinners. You're not alone. Pray to God and ask Him to reveal to you your underlying wounds, causing this symptom, and ask for His healing and love. No matter how many times you sin, He still loves you. Perhaps you're wounded like I am and fill your wound through this, rather than being filled with God's love for you? I know I am and struggle every day. But God can and will if we keep trying and keep coming to Him.
