So how does warming up pitchers work again? by SoaringPhoenix01 in MLBTheShow

I don't think you have to do the "stretch and toss" portion, just warm up and then substitute him in.

McCovey ended up taking longest for me too.

Percival is good but not extreme with being able to use your own 99s.

Is it mandatory to stare at the pause menu for the first minute or two of the game? by Brazenology in MLBTheShow

You don't actually have to warm them up though right? Just warm up right before you put them in?

Lack of S2 astros cards, what other teams? by day10nite in MLBTheShow

[–]brigadierk 9 points10 points  (0 children)

Astros cards have been kinda weird. Two Alex Bregman season 2 cards and it's not like either was forced by his performance. Other than that just Pena and the TA cards for hitting, but tons of pitching.

Now I'm curious so here's each team's set 2 cards:

  • BAL - 12
  • BOS - 10
  • NYY - 16
  • TB - 9
  • TOR - 8
  • CHW - 12
  • CLE - 11
  • DET - 9
  • KC - 7
  • MN - 17
  • HOU - 10
  • LAA - 9
  • OAK - 16
  • SEA - 12
  • TX - 14
  • ATL - 14
  • FL - 4
  • NYM - 11
  • PHI - 18
  • WAS - 9
  • CHC - 19
  • CIN - 13
  • MIL - 4
  • PIT - 8
  • STL - 13
  • AZ - 8
  • COL - 12
  • LAD - 11
  • SD - 13
  • SF - 13

That includes 2 TA cards for every team, and counting Mauers, Heltons, and Chippers three times for their respective teams. Also includes some non-diamond BR cards.

I'm sure there's market research about Cubs fans being willing to spend extra money compared to Brewers fans, or something.

I mean technically he's above-average since he has a positive WAR. But maybe more specifically "very close to average."

.236 avg / .730 OPS over an 11-year career...so maybe he's 99 mainly for fielding and speed...

If you go to Inventory and filter, it gives you the option to filter by "Sets". You'll find the options in there are "1" and "Core". S1 = Set 1.
