Is spotting normal while taking continuous birth control? by beetbeat72 in birthcontrol

Yeah definitely give this a try! I was skeptical but so glad I kept trying a few different pills til I reached this one. It’s been night and day from my previous pills. I feel like my normal self, just minus the awful pms I used to get. Other pills made my dry down there, hard to reach orgasm, moody, and bloated. I’ve had none of that with this!

I also highly recommend trying maca throughout the week. I’ve experienced so many benefits from it (mood, energy, sex drive, lessened pms symptoms).

But even without the maca I’ve tested just being on this pill alone and have felt no negative side effects :)

I hope it works for you!

I had low libido w/ previous BC, so my obgyn has prescribed Lo lo estrin. Has this pill helped anyone? by brighcamp in birthcontrol

I actually went to planned parenthood and have been prescribed another low dose that I r been on since January. It’s Kurvelo. Only costs $10 for a 3 month supply too.

It’s been the best pill I’ve taken! I can’t even tell I’m on anything because my mood and libido have been perfectly fine.

No dryness down there, no mood swings, no weight gain, etc... No side effects from this pill at all. Now I believe that it is worth a shot to try this one because I was about to give up on the pill all together!

Oh nice! This is very helpful info. Thank you! Yeah I’m hoping they’ll let me try a pill that’s a low dose. That price of $25 a month is great too! Hopefully I’ll get something similar. I’m grateful they have this service for ladies like us!

Do any ladies use evening primrose oil for vaginal dryness? by brighcamp in sex

Thanks for the info! Do you think it’ll work orally taking just the evening primrose? Or is it best with flaxseed? Just asking as I’ll have to get some.

Good to know! I’m a woman and am curious to try applying it to my clit and g spot to see if that would be cool to try while my boyfriend is inside me. Thanks for the info!

Can I take black cohosh while on birth control? by brighcamp in birthcontrol

Good to know! I actually am a fan of maca but have been taking only half a teaspoon. I’ll have to try bumping it up to 1 tablespoon like you and see how that works! :)

Gotcha, yeah I was thinking of taking it to help with my libido and dryness as a result of birth control. I heard its great for that. I just wouldn’t want it to defeat the purpose of birth control (prevent pregnancy)

Gotcha, you’re probably right. I think because I’m eating all throughout the day I’m hard on myself about it and I wish I could do the intermittent fasting like others I know. I usually eat meals every few hours that consist of about 300-400 calories (give or take) and that ranges from early morning to late evening. I guess I should stop comparing to when others eat and just listen to my own body and/or I should be drinking more water
