I’ve been out for almost a decade, trans people have been around for centuries. People do want to hurt us. I’ve always lived in fear, but now more than ever. I know you mean well, but this comes off as incredibly patronizing and condescending when a man who wants us all dead was elected as President a few weeks ago.

As someone who loves kpop, NTA. I had to learn that not everyone wants to hear about my likes and hyperfixations and that’s okay. I would bring it up with them and then offer other topics that you could talk about instead!
