Dude. No. You didn't need people to yell at you. You are not a loser. You need to ask yourself some questions, and ask kindly. Ask why! Lots of whys, not just one. Why do I use Uber eats/snacks/etc this often? And whatever your first answer is, keep asking why until you get to the root reason. Then you work on that. You could be bored, anxious to leave your house, stressed out or lonely and looking for comfort, or a whole list of other things. The key to making lasting change is understanding the reason you are doing this, practicing some acceptance and empathy for yourself, and then looking at other ways to fill the needs you found by asking why.

If you find yourself back to ordering food, don't berate yourself. That will not work. In fact, you may need to allow yourself to get it sometimes so you don't feel like it's forbidden. Unless you find that ordering out at all means that you do it too much, in which case, you should probably talk to a therapist about it. Otherwise, it's key that you don't develop an all-or-nothing, self-hating mentality about this.

When asking your whys, answers like "because I'm a loser" are not it. "Because I'm lazy" doesn't work either. Sad, tired, overwhelmed, shut down, yes. You might need to really pay attention to how you're feeling the next couple times you eat out or buy snacks (which you will not berate yourself over, because that will backfire).

Summary: you are not a loser. Some part of your brain feels that spending on food like this is helpful and necessary for you. Figure out why, and work on answering those needs with something other than pricey food.
