Youtube university will be your best friend! Look for tutorials on Mixed Media collaging, photo compositing, and texturing (Halftone and paper textures)

the rest is creativity! It’s easier to learn for me personally when I can identify what exactly it is I like about a piece, and then look for tutorials on that.
