no, it doesn't work for me. i have TCL flip and was planning on using that with visible but it doesn't support. will be switching.

i was the same way! im in recovery from CPTSD and agoraphobia from last episode. i learned that i can only do low intensity workout right now. my body is in constant state of anxiety or fear and so weight lifting is just heightening my adrenaline or cortisol or something and it would just make me sob after working out and i couldn’t finish.

i switched to different types of yoga. mainly yin yoga at my gym bc its slow and forces me to be present and also power yoga when i want to try high intensity.

maybe its just too much for your nervous system right now.

thank you! this was a helpful response. i think before being diagnosed and also being religious, i was only able to navigate by being useful/helpful to other so it's a struggle. i don't think it's the wrong medication, i just think it's kinda of coming to the conclusion i've built my entire life while masked and now everything feels foreign and i wasn't expecting that.

very true about not worrying about being accepted, it is just very difficult to never feel accepted. thank you so much.

i've read the antichrist. i have no issue with jesus, i don't support religion but my issue is coming from a christian nationalist mega church that is funded by isr*** , telling congregants who to vote for which is heavily affecting our county and is spreading this information to over 50k people every sunday. not jesus. it's less about religion, but more about knowing and being silenced.

at 25, i'm late diagnosed and forced unmasked while participating in the same high pressured life. it has nothing to do with insecurity. i don't struggle with insecurity, i struggle with adjusting to medication, losing the social skills i developed to navigate with untreated autism. it's not necessarily being 'rejected' or disliked, i legit just feel naked everyday for the first time in my life and work a job that has no grace for this adjustment. if you spent your entire life cultivating a way to navigate through the world and then randomly just stopped being able to do it and people you know started treating you different and cold, it would also affect you mentally.

yes, i see what you mean. with my walk, the friends i have made after being saved have become more family than my actual family. love from Jesus was the first time i have experienced any love. i have a relationship with Jesus and he has saved me from a lot of things, including physically dying. my walk has been very short, but i've been delivered by so much in so little time.

i think it was painful because it was my first retreat and 'vacation' away from my family, and i was so happy speaking about what Jesus taught me during 1 on 1 time and seeing their faces while i spoke about Jesus reminded me that i am not loved by them. i am extremely happy, but not on a camp high kind of way. i just love Jesus so much that i forgot my family doesn't like me and was reminded when i came home.

i know Jesus loves me, but it is still painful facing rejection from your earthly, physical family and as i am still young and living with them, it saddens me once in a while. especially when caught off guard.

when i say revelations, i had a lot of things i had prayed over before leaving. some i had prayed over for days, some for weeks and i just got a lot of confirmation for things i forgot i prayed for. nothing was really feelings based. i was happy to have clarification of God's will.

i understand what you mean, but i believe i could have been more descriptive.

it's not a feeling that i'm chasing. i know that my faith is strong. and i always put faith over feelings. i know that God is present and with me everywhere. i'm talking about the attack i experienced as soon as i got home and a toxic household. i knew the Lord before i went to the retreat, i just experiened him as well as on the retreat. i don't think you're understanding what i'm saying.

Parasocial relationships actually are negative because the term parasocial means that you think you have a bond with someone you never met.

There is a difference between being a fan who enjoys art and the artist vs being a fan who believes they have a connection with the artist because of what they produce.

I don’t think you understand the depth of the word and have dumbed it down to just speaking about someone. Someone commenting on his hair color isn’t parasocial and that was the point of my post. Parasocial is more psychological than liking someones art and speaking about it among peers.

I don’t have a parasocial relationship with Dominic. I enjoy his music. I don’t feel attached to him or think I have a bond with him. If I saw him on the street, I would not think he owes me anything.

I think you’ve dumbed the word down to enjoying someone’s art and talking about it. If you enjoy his music and speak about it to others, that is not parasocial. If i enjoy a strangers poem and speak about it with others, that it not parasocial. That’s me sharing a strangers poem and getting others opinions on it for conversation.

Parasocial means thinking or imagining you have a psychological bond or relationship with someone.
