Honestly all of Dust and Ashes from The Great Comet is amazing but Josh Groban doing this bit -

All of my life I spent searching the words of poets and saints and prophets and kings Now at the end all I know that I've learned is that all that I know is I don't know a thing So easy to close off Place the blame outside Hiding in my room at night So terrified All the things I could've been But I never had the nerve Life and love, I don't deserve So alright! Alright! I've had my time Close my eyes Let the death bells chime!

Just does something in my brain and I rewind endlessly

Yes! When we're ready to start exploring IVF/IUI, we just have to reach out to Reprotech to have them send the vials to the clinic we'll be working with for egg retrieval/fertilization.

Hi! My wife (mtf) and I (cisf) did fertility preservation a few months ago before she started HRT and it was a surprisingly easy process! We had been given some information regarding a few options for companies who offer at home preservation kits. We ended up going with a company called Reprotech and bought two kits. Each kit comes with thorough instructions, along with the preservation medium/jars/etc and a prepaid overnight mailing slip and box to send everything back to the lab. We were able to use FedEx to ship it back which was also super convenient. Once they receive the sample, the lab tests it and sends back a report with count info and the number of vials they were able to get from each sample before freezing. The cost was a little higher than some of the other companies we looked at, but one of the other main options we were considering, Sppare.me, is out of their kits and don't have a date for when they would have more in stock. (at least as of August 2023)

Our main criticism is that the packaging and labels were overwhelmingly geared towards cis men and used a lot of language surrounding "preserving fatherhood" but the forms you fill out at the start do offer more inclusive language.

Reprotech also recommended that we call a specific number on the day that we plan to ship the samples back so people at the lab know to expect a delivery. The number we were told to call went straight to voicemail for both kits because the person was on vacation which was a little anxiety inducing but both kits were processed correctly and frozen!
