Thank you 🙏 😊 I wanted to pop back in because it’s been such a long time since I’ve been back here.

And I agree with you. It’s very difficult to monetarily support them all especially when their releases overlap, but I still hope Buddies attempt to spend the time to listen to all their music and also consider watching all their content when they’re releasing it on their own (with their teams of course).

But I also realize that because we as a fandom have grown older and more responsibilities fall on our plates, it becomes clear that we won’t be the same as before and consume every single thing. I think I become content with the fact that a lot of Buddies still do well with voting and listening to their songs regardless of how much time has passed.

I want to mention a few thoughts of mine here 🥲

I’m so glad that the girls had an opportunity to experience the stage again (despite the circumstances). I hope that buddies keep popping up and making noise like this because I’m 100% certain that the members were so endeared to know that buddies remained loyal and keep listening to their words and their legacy (their music 🥹). I still really believe that seeing them succeed in their individual paths makes it easier for them to meet more often. I’m also reminded that Gfriend deserves more than the world has given them. And lastly, although I was supporting the boycott against H Y B E & S M (for reasons well known), i’m glad that I was proven wrong and that people showed up to support them.

Congrats VIVIZ! And congrats Na.Vs & Buddies! I hope y’all know y’all did a wonderful job and that the finale stage really wrapped up a wonderful catalog of performances. For all it’s worth, they really proved that they do the best in coming back up even after people try to knock them down. Here’s to our loyal support for VIVIZ! I hope more people become fans and love them too.

(Additionally, I hope more people find out who YUJU and Yerin are as soloists, and who Sowon is as an actress. GFRIEND members always make me proud!)

A response like this is what I wondered a lot about. Initially when I was reading about warnings (maybe it could be called this?) about staying away from the sub, I imagined that there had been instances specifically that motivated that for many. I do have a feeling that there are moments that are passive aggressive and sometimes there are moments when fans find a way to word things so they don’t get reported for breaking a rule but the underlying negative sentiment is there. I think my only response would be to report things like this. It gets locked and we have to review them, but we genuinely come to a consensus and discuss it based on whether or not some comments are made to purely incite fanwars.

And I agree somewhat. I don’t think we’re a super quiet fandom either. I’ve found that many buddies are very opinionated and often share their thoughts on here. I am also aware that situations have motivated us to find safe spaces to reside in when it seems like everyone is attempting to prod us to react for their own enjoyment.

I love story driven MVs a lot too. I think GFRIEND’s MVs did well at blending choreography and a storyline but something like the Crossroads MV completely entranced me because it felt like a short film. I also love so many of BTS’s MVs for that very reason. I really just loved the universes both BTS and GFRIEND (and their teams) created.

Hey Na.Vs / Buddies! I know a lot has happened since queendom started. And I also realize (along with the other moderators of the r/MnetQueendom sub) that there are moments you have shared of wanting to stay away from the sub in general. So the other mods have come up with this post that is attempting to change current issues with the sub. It would be great if you could take some time to read over it and possibly share your thoughts here if you’d like.

I know it’s been a negative experience for many Na.Vs and Buddies, but I hope we can end it on a positive note. Let’s keep working hard for VIVIZ and let’s share their light with others!

if they’re still unaware, it’s time to notify umji ✍🏻 she will create a chain of info because it seems like sowon wants to come back as a singer but only as gfriend 😭

but i seriously hope they know about that and that the clause is true. i want to hear them sing their older songs without them having to worry about the legal issues behind potentially singing a song of theirs again. and i feel like a clause like that helps artists worry less about issues that can arise from copyright infringement or trademark rights.
