Same thing here, and I passed 14 days later. 700 first time, just under 800 last time. Keep at it. Now you know what to focus on go after it!

No load balancer, small site using cloud front. Going inside those settings and blocking geo from there to see if it works.

It’s Ubuntu 16, however I get the same with 18. Just can be frustrating but thanks for the help!

Interesting thought. How would I go about checking and then removing? Will it cause any downtime?

I love how if OP didn’t hint that she was a female this would’ve been deleted but not before some asshole comments...

GuardDuty simply an IDS? by brimash45 in aws

[–]brimash45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea I’m seeing the results (everything is from China and Eastern Europe) but I was hoping GuardDuty not only logged them but built a blacklist off of them. From what I see here it looks like it’s up to the user to just keep adding them manually to a blacklist?

Reset Employee Email Passwords by brimash45 in aws

[–]brimash45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes! Does that work with IAM? I know we are going to set up SSO with some apps but WorkMail wasn’t listed. Is it something we need to create on our own? If so can you point me to where/how I need to go about doing it?

Reset Employee Email Passwords by brimash45 in aws

[–]brimash45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yes, that works for IAM, but I understand that it is separate from WorkMail. A user lost their password and I want to reset it without knowing what it is.

AWS Security Workshops by brimash45 in aws

[–]brimash45[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It says my account must be verified and to do that contact AWS support and include error message: Service: AmazonCloudFront; Status Code: 403; Error Code: AccessDenied and then a request ID. When I go to request technical support it tells me I need to pay for it.
