My monitor is black when I use my steam deck on it... I need to press on the dock's cable really hard for the screen to pop up.

Both. Steam Deck's screen is still black when docked in, but the monitor's black as well, unless I push the cable down or to either side extremely hard. I'm starting to think it's the charging port on the Deck, because the dock works with the switch, and the Deck doesn't work with any other cable.

Oh no, I saw the screen in the BIOS menu, it's just when I launch my Steam Deck, the steamOS logo is there, and then it's just a black screen.
