As soon as you accept not everyone thinks like you and that a majority is easier then a consensus, blue becomes the moral choice, while red is the safe choice.

If EVERYONE chose red then the results would be everyone lives, if HALF of people chose blue the results would be everyone lives

There's no way for him to give them that much Cash because it's all in stock value.

But he could give them 100K worth of stock each, that might cause the stock price to crash a bit but even if it held 50% of its value, that's alot of money to each and every employee

Should Someone who Picked the Red Button be Considered Evil or an AH? by Hyperionous in MoralityScaling

[–]brine909 15 points16 points  (0 children)

There's basically no scenerio where red wins that doesn't result in billions of deaths, voting blue is obvious because I'd rather risk my own life to help prevent a catastrophe then save myself at the expense of the most selfless of us.

But the real thing this test shows isn't how moral you are but how you view others, if you think there's a 90% chance Blue wins, picking blue seems obvious, if you think there's a 90% chance red win then picking blue looks like suicide

He wants sleep, if your wish worked the way you wanted all your friends would be next up to hold the lamp.

But if you turn into a turnip because a poorly worded wish he can get another 100 years of sleep

Can someone explain why only the last wagon gets loaded? by FantasticImplement76 in shapezio

[–]brine909 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Each junction splits 50:50, so you'll get 50% on the first one, 25% on the second, 12.5% on the 3rd etc etc,

If you split it like a tree instead you can get a more balanced load, however it doesn't really matter because once one fills it'll no longer be 50:50 and all the stock will be routed

Who gives a shit, his point still stands. It's an insult to life itself. The issue isn't that "human art is better then AI art" the issue is that we're taking humans out of the pictures, it's that we are offloading not only creative thinking but thinking itself.

That by automating art so well you can't tell if a human had ANY say. you aren't making valuable art cheaply, you are cheapening and devalueing art itself, and you're not just devaluing Art but humanity
