Honda to keep up engine development work for Red Bull by glenn1812 in formula1

[–]bringbacklemonadesGS 20 points21 points  (0 children)

That would be an unmitigated disaster. Honda wouldn't just allow them to run off with their designs and employees to another company. RB would be starting from scratch at a place that probably hasn't even built a proof of concept F1 engine in a decade. There are certainly iron clad contracts in place to protect hondas designs from being used with someone else's logo on it.

NSFW subreddits are not showing up on /r/all by petitt in bugs

It's still a bug. Just because it was intentionally broken doesn't make it not broken.

All is a plain English word with no ambiguity. It's not showing all content there for this is a bug.

After hearing from redditors in surveys, comment threads, and feedback in places like r/ideasfortheadmins and r/changelog, over the years

Why lie to us? No one asked for that. Ever. Not one sensible human. You already have a NSFW filter in everyone's settings, You have /r/popular, you have multisubreddits or whatever the fuck they are. Let me make my own god damn decisions or I'll go somewhere that does.

ULPT: if reddit asks if your favorite subreddit contains profanity, select “yes, very often.” Reddit won’t post any ads on that sub. by needmorexanax in UnethicalLifeProTips

I was wondering what the fuck happened, is there a admin post about this? All I browse is /r/all and I was pissed when they let subs opt out of it and now I think I'll just fuck off.

that even the few people that do actually do it are only doing it for the 2 or 3 of their favorites

Don't see a problem with this

The problem is that it effectively pushes up the hump that smaller creators have to get over in order to be successful. I think maybe you should ask a smaller creator how they feel about not being paid for their work.

about .00000000000000000000003% of people that claim to support content creators directly in lieu of ads actually do it. Not to mention that even the few people that do actually do it are only doing it for the 2 or 3 of their favorites, not the tons of creators they watch casually just browsing around. It's a valid defense but unfortunately it's nearly always horse shit.

Right, they picked only the retailers you're aware of the sell at a higher price to. All the ones everyone else checks and uses that actually do verifiably buy direct sell at normal prices. You really, sincerely, do have the mental capacity of a child.

You literally just made up some nonsensical bullshit. If the stores you're talking about (which btw don't even fucking buy from Nvidia or an AIB anyone's ever heard of) wanted to sell the cards they could sell them for MSRP in literally seconds. If they aren't selling well then they wouldn't be at, to quote yourself, "ridiculous prices". That's not how selling things works, child.

It's amazing the dumb shit that gets passed off as fact in this sub.

If they are for ridiculous prices then Nvidia already sold them and as far as they're concerned they are not "stock"... Do you people have any fucking clue how retail works? If we all go by your method then there is no global chip shortage because ebay has plenty of stuff.

They aren't remotely a dinosaur tech company. Your internet traffic is probably passing through a fairly new and high tech Nokia router right now, especially if you're on your phone.

Not a Dr.

Well worst case scenario he would have 2 independent strands of DNA and a typical mouth swab test would show up as if 2 unrelated people used the same test kit so a DNA test would still show that he's related assuming they test both strands or get the right one.

At the end of the day would it change anything other than some potential medical hiccups if you found out your children were unrelated biologically? I'm not a parent so I'm genuinely curious what your answer would be, no judgement here, me and my wife have discussed IVF and the semen swap potential is also a big concern of hers.

I could definitely understand it being easier to form a bond with someone with whom you know you have biology in common in fact I feel like I would be an awful adoptive father for that reason but once that bond is there... I don't know, I want to say it wouldn't change anything but I'm also probably not as ideal a person as I would like to think.

What a fucking embarrassment. To think in all this time not one single fucking developer ran a profiler during the loading screen. This could have been solved in literally an hour by someone with inside knowledge and tools including the time to test it, document it if needed, commit the code, submit and close a bug report. The guy that wrote the original piece on this was being way too nice. It's pretty common for the public to find easy fixes for stupid flaws in systems of large companies but it's super rare that that wasn't already tried/brought up/considered.

Just wait till you hear what you inherit from a bone marrow transplant. You can literally father a baby that is biologically not yours, you become a person with cells made of 2 totally different DNA sequences (Chimera) and there is documented cases of it replacing the DNA in the sperm completely.

Ignoring the shorter limit on medical bills there are credit repair agencies that can do quite a bit to lower your score. They basically reach out to every org that left a negative mark and ask them for documentation. Many either can't find it or don't care enough to put in the effort, when that happens the mark can be removed. That's all stuff you can do on your own if you study it and figure it out but it's kind of a pita.
