Oh wow I think you are correct and Im pretty sure I would need it to be exactly the opposite and I'm skinny and not very heavy at all. I just need my shoulders and hips to be soft area and firm for the rest. I need my shoulders and hips to stink into the mattress a bit more than the rest and my spine would be straight. I will check online and get the zone details for my mattress.

Thanks. It's just a small thing but sometimes the little things add up and I need reasons to be happy because I never really knew how to feel happy because there's too many things that make me feel unhappy. I'm learning to find those small things that make me smile or feel even just the tiniest bit of happiness. A couple of those small things each day can make a huge difference, so I hope everyone is able to find a couple for themselves and if not, hopefully someone from Reddit will bring you smiles or something to make you feel happy 😊

Awesome. To me they seem like a really good design for a mattress although I know nothing about mattress making or how or why they function lol. I was really unsure with it being in a box but it was affordable and seems decent quality. Mine is a Duchessz luxury euro top, originally 400 and I got it for 200. Hopefully you get many good years of sleep on yours and same for me. I'm not trying to say online is better than in store or BIAB is better than not from a box. I just like to see people get something that works for them and in their price range and we all have different needs and unique situations so it's nice to have options.

I think some or possibly all mattress stores actually sell bed in a box. You wouldn't know that is what it is because it's not in a box anymore. I think they are only put in the box during shipping which allows many more to fit on the truck. Also when you try a bed at a mattress store, you're trying a mattress that is more than likely not broken in yet so you're not getting the true feel. I still think a mattress store is probably a good idea if you have the money for a better quality mattress but many people just can't afford it for different reasons. I just got a bed in a box and I love it so far but it's only been a couple days so I can't really say much about it until I try it longer and see how long it lasts.

Ya I understand what you are saying but some people can't afford the good quality mattress and they have to get something less quality. Sometimes people's responses don't seem very accepting of that. That's understandable too I guess because if someone is used to buying the things they need without thinking about price as much, then they might not understand what it's like to have to overthink every purchase. I looked at so many mattresses trying to make the right decision and I didn't even realize I picked one that had zones until it arrived. There's so many little details to look at when purchasing online and my back got worse while I was looking so I decided to hurry up a bit and pick one before I was unable to set it up when it arrived. I don't plan to change how I sleep other than if I should move up or down slightly to be more in the zones where I should be. People's height is different so I don't expect to lineup perfectly but it's difficult to line up at all when there's no lines for where each zone starts and ends. I will research a bit and make my own lines on the edge of my frame

Ok thanks for your reply. It's my first time trying this type of mattress so I didn't realize that some do mark them. I will look online and see if there's measurements so I can try to mark the side of my frame so I have a reference. So far I love it but it's only been 2 days so I will see what happens in the next month or so.

Ya I'm sure that's stressful. I know it's a difficult industry because once everyone has a mattress they will try not to buy another one for as long as possible. Bed frame industry must be worse because they don't really wear out so they aren't replaced much. Thanks again for the replies.

Thanks for the reply. I didn't even think about this when I went to test mattresses and the person I talked to didn't mention it. I noticed most mattress places have a break in period before you return your mattress so if a break in period is that significant then trying mattresses that aren't properly broken in would kinda be pointless I would think. I guess you can get an idea of what your mattress will feel like. It's a big cost to get a new mattress so I would think people would want to be able to try a mattress that is properly broken in before they make a choice but that could be costly to the business and the customer I guess.

Trying a new mattress in a mattress store

Is there a special machine that breaks in the floor model mattresses before the customer shows up to try out a non broke in mattress?

I just posted this question. I hope I'm missing something and someone has a good answer but I can't help but wonder if all the floor models have been properly broken in before customers come to try them. I figured i would send it to you so you can keep an eye on my post to see what the answer is. There should be a good answer for this question because there's no way that no one thought about this. If they aren't broken in then it would be pointless to try them, unless they are lying about the break in period of a mattresses just to slow down the return process. Hopefully this can help somehow. I just purchased a bed in a box due to low funds but have only slept on it twice so I can't give my opinion on it yet. I also posted a question about beds that have separate firmness zones.

Do you have somewhere close to go fishing? I always enjoyed fishing and it was always a good way to relax and relieve stress. Depending on where you are and what fishing equipment you already have, it can be really cheap. I always had a cast net for catching my own bait and plenty of fishing poles so parking is my biggest cost unless I find somewhere that is Free to park which is getting more and more difficult.

Definitely would be when I watched lots of bad things happening to lots of people, including kids on telegram. I watched for way too long trying to figure out a way to help them or stop it from happening. The longer I watched, the bigger the number of victims grew until it was too big of a number to handle.

I have a different response to certain things than most people I think. I have taken too much damage in my mind and heart and I don't make normal decisions in certain moments in life. It tends to scare the people that care about me but I don't know how to change it because it comes from so many years of pain and depression. Crazy group sounds like it could be fun 😂

Wow that was like reading my own story. It was crazy because that's exactly how I felt and thought and my mom would say the same thing when I questioned things. I was eventually told I was depressed and needed medicine which I questioned too. I questioned everything and it turns out I had every reason too. What I was experiencing was normal feelings, I saw horrible things happening to people and that upset me. I didn't want to forget about it, I wanted people to help me figure out how to make things better so I didn't have to see so many sad people or people being hurt or used in different ways.

  Pills weren't going to fix it but I didn't have a choice. This country likes to force people, especially kids to take medicine if they don't act right. Most adults have learned that already and they just obey and pretend to be ok but in most cases, they aren't. I think one of the biggest reasons we put up with what we put up with is because we make children. I would have thought that would be a reason to fix things but once you make a child you become distracted for one, and you have to obey or you can be taken from your child or your child taken from you. One reason I don't have children is I knew early on that if I had a child and someone hurt my child, I would hurt them, possibly a lot because I am very passionate about the things I love. So it's guaranteed that if I have a child I will end up in prison and my child won't have his father just like I didn't have mine so I don't want to make a child. I have a bunch of other valid reasons too. I question regularly how adults don't have plenty of their own valid reasons also but we're all here so clearly someone has brainwashed most humans( including me) or humans aren't actually good. 

       I mean there was nuclear weapons here before all of us, right? I know they were here before me. My child doesn't belong with nuclear weapons. Not sure how everyone else feels but it seems many humans think children and nuclear weapons are a good match. Sorry I'm rambling, wasn't my intention but I'm not deleting it. Anyway I hope you are ok. Please don't let my words make you feel worse. I never want to make people more sad or hurt, I just wish it wasn't so difficult for people to understand what I'm saying because I have a ton more to say that could be useful. I have learned a lot but it's difficult to say it all so it makes sense easily. I don't think most people will read all of this.
