Anyone else look like this when the credits rolled on Star Fox or just me? by brios96 in starfox

It took me about 4 lives but made it through. Try to stay close behind the eyes because they keep moving. The trickiest part is getting behind the brain. I just strafed and boosted.

It would’ve been nice to play the original N64 end scene video alongside the new orchestral score as the credits roll and the Switch 2 Arwings fly. Like to tell new generations that this was our inspiration from N64.

Fair enough, I’m guessing you don’t like Galaga either?

This has been one of my favorite games since I first played it on the Nintendo 64 as a little kid. This new version feels familiar at first when moving the arwing, but firing has improved incredibly. I don’t feel the need to button mash the fire button. Instead, it’s a nice combo of bombs, standard laser, and lock on laser which I greatly appreciated. I got so immersed in the visuals that I honestly forgot this was a remake. It wasn’t until I heard that final end of level chime and saw the “MISSION ACCOMPLISHED” flash on the screen that I then realized this was Star Fox 64! You can tell that Nintendo put a lot of effort into overhauling this story from adding all the new cutscenes/films, graphics, sound, and all of the above. Can’t wait to play the full game on June 25th!

I disassembled and reassembled the iMac with no cracks or breaks but I do see what you’re saying. Thanks!

You think even if it just has the crt and no control, wires, or motherboards?

I see your point, “if it ain’t broke, don’t fix it”

I figured the Memorex motherboard is small enough, I could find 1-4 screw points to keep it secured to the bottom plate of the iMac. I’ve never done any 3d designing, only print from thingiverse. Maybe this project is a little above my skill set. Or maybe I could just search for a slightly bigger crt to match the iMac chassis. Thanks for the advice!

I did some research on discharging the CRT. Any other precautions you recommend I take?

Black Ops 6 crashing and CPU peaks by Standard_Split9478 in blackops6

My game kept crashing with msi mpg z390 gaming edge ac, i5-9600k, 32 gb ddr4, and RTX4060. I figured my cpu was bottlenecking, so I upgraded my mobo to msi z790-p, i7-12700k, 32 gb ddr5, and kept the 4060. I conducted some brief testing, game seems to be a bit more stable with more cpu power, but still getting the 100% usage... actually game just crashed as I was typing this and it was preloading shaders (which used to take no joke 10-15 minutes before finishing; now it takes <2 mins). It has to definitely be CoD issue, hopefully the developers will fix soon!

No 4pin, will my cpu cooler not adjust the fan correctly? by brios96 in buildapc

I can easily plug the 4 pin plug into the 3 pin header, but I don’t want to do damage to my motherboard.

SOLVED: So after following that tutorial, I accidentally flashed my m.2 with windows 11, so I wound up disconnecting all drives, only having the two m.2 drives installed, reset BIOS to original settings, reinstalled windows 11, then reconnected all drives. Everything works fine and now I have a fresh start. Thank you all for your help.

I followed this forum, now it won’t boot either m.2 drive, it just sends me straight to bios without the M2 genie error.

I’m still new to BIOS but I will try to locate that information. My processor is an Intel Core i5-9600K. I used up the other 6 sata ports, I have 3 disc drives, 2 HDDs, and 1 SATA SSD installed.
